This stuff almost killed my dog! I gave her 2 tea pills as recommended upon receiving product to help with recent Cushings Disease diagnosis and related symptoms. Hours later, she was having labored breathing, had a purple tongue, her eyes were barley opened, totally glazed over with a film, she couldn't walk and she was slipping away from us!!? It was HORRIBLE. Had to rush her to Emergency Veterinarian on Sunday evening where she was hospitalized with an IV and on oxygen overnight along with labs and them calling ASPCA poison control to consult a veterinarian regarding these pills! She is SLOWLY recovering back to her baseline and it's Tuesday, 48 hours after the dose! This was a scary nightmare and certainly she would not have survived without medical intervention to flush this from her system and support her while it wore off. BE CAREFUL and absolutely do NOT use on a senior dog and/or with symptomatic Cushings! I would consider (and have since ordered!!) the more homeopathic remedies for Cushings over this dangerous product. You just DON"T know what's in it??!! This was a $600 lesson for us and I almost lost my dog over it!

I have given my Shih Tzu 4 pills in the morning every day for over 2 yrs. She has Cushings and at the beginning she used to pant really hard. She no longer pants. Hasn't for couple of years. She plays and is very active. She is over 12 yrs, old now. She does so well on these little pills that I will not stop them.

One of the many mistakes people make regarding Chinese medicine is that they try to treat WESTERN diagnosed diseases with it. IF your vet is trained in Chinese herbs and has recommended this formula - then yes, this can be used on an animal - it is the exact same formula as the veterinary version. However, your pet has to have the patterns of Damp-Heat, Blood Stasis, and Wei Zheng (muscle atropphy) for this formula to be effective. If your pet has Cushings (or any other Western diagnosis) but it is NOT due to the underlying patterns I named above, then this is not the appropriate formula. PLEASE don't make the same mistake that the poor woman who almost lost her dog made. Make sure you have a CHINESE diagnosis before choosing herbs! A single Western diagnosis will have multiple formulas that can treat it, and it all depends on the underlying pattern. Chinese medicine just doesn't work the same as Western, where one medication for Cushings could treat anyone with Cushings (or any other diagnosis).

Grumpy bladders be gone. This is a great Chinese herb kid that is highly effective. My cat and I take it.

My mini schnauzer wasn't feeling well. Vet told me that it looked like she was getting cushings and i read an article online and decided to give her two tea pills in the morning and with dinner. I did this for 10 days, stopped for 4 days then did it for 10 more days/ 4 days off then 5 more days and she was fine after that. I also fed her the Royal Canine medicinal food prescribe for 3 weeks then switched her to Annamaet grain free lean reduced fat formula. I give her 1 Welactin omega-3 capsule with dinner every weeknights. She also eats a little bit of (sweet potatoes, squash, green beans and oatmeal/all organic) mix in with dinner. I haven't given her the Four Marvel Teapills again since she is no longer panting and going to the bathroom frequently. She weights around 13.5 pounds.I use other products by this brand and I highly recommend it.

My 13yo Black Lab is taking is taking these for Laryngeal Paralysis, so I can’t vouch on his behalf, though I feel that they’re helping.
