Worth it
I was skeptical that these would live up to their price point. Ive been rocking the Aguilar headphone amp. Aux wire in and headphone wire out. Love the sound of it, but it gets old fighting those wires. I needed something for in my RV when we road trip. These are phenomenal! I dont use the gimmick(y) position setting. I went through and dialed in my StingRay, my Ultra 2 Jazz bass, and my D'Mark 6 string. They all sound great through these. I play along to Spotify songs, then switch over to no bass jam along on YouTube, then hit the onboard drum machine. Too easy. Super comfortable. No wires. The onboard effects are super fun and I can get each of my basses dialed in. I "wrote" each sound - so they are easy to pull up when I switch basses. There are enough drum patterns in this thing to keep you busy. Overall I am extremely glad I spent the money. They have never cut out on me and I haven't run out of battery during a sesh. I only go for about 3 hours tho. I charge after every time I use them. I sit in front of the TV with my wife while she watches a chick flick I do a fair bit of shredding. Ha!

This is quality gear and is worth the price!
As soon as you pull it out of the box it looks and feels like a quality product. When I unboxed it, in my excitement, I just turned the headset on, plugged in my bass, started a track on my iPhone and it worked. I couldn't believe it. It has some cool features so eventually you'll need to 'review' the user doc. But overall, the phone app is pretty intuitive. Since receiving the WAZA Air I have used it a lot. Occasionally the Bluetooth gets wonky, and you have to go through re-pairing. It would also be nice if the battery level was more apparent, you have to go into system settings to check it. I wish I had known they made a bass version, but I am very happy with what I have. It sounds and works great!

This an an awesome setup! (But not for the tech-challenged)
First, let’s talk about the sound quality. I was originally looking for a really great set of headphones that I could plug-in and get truly great sound. When these headphones popped up in the suggestions I was skeptical. That lasted until my first listen. All of my guitars sound crisp and clear and bright. The sound is actually better than my beats studio threes and I imagine they would compare favorably to any other $400 pair of headphones. Now let’s talk about the tech. Being able to plug-in the little fob into my guitar and have it play through the headphones is awesome! When I was first looking at headphones I told myself that I would be content dealing with the cord. This completely illuminates that. So strictly as a practice device you get fantastic sound quality and a no Mas no fuss set up with no wires. The tech contained in this unit is simply magnificent. It’s going to be a little bit difficult to describe but I’ll try. When everything is connected the app that runs on your smart phone can be set up so that as you move your head the sound of your guitar actually changes position. I know, it sounds weird. But it’s awesome! Imagine that you’re playing the guitar facing your amp and then you move your head to the left and the sound of the amp stays in the same position so it would be louder in your right ear which is closer to the speaker. And then as you move your head the other way it’s still seems like the amp hasn’t moved even though your head is moved. In one of the settings the 3-D sound that you’re getting from the headphones makes it seem like the speakers are behind you. So imagine that you’re fronting a band and the band is playing behind you and you were playing guitar in front of them. Yeah. It sounds like that. I highly recommend that you watch some of the videos so that you can see how this feature works. It’s like nothing else I’ve ever seen and it’s amazing to play with. Hearing is absolutely believing. If you are technologically challenged, this might not be the set up for you. There is a very specific set of instructions that you need to follow in order to set these up so that you can play your guitar and also listen to music streaming from your phone to play along with. If you do not follow the instructions or if you get impatient you are going to get frustrated. That being said, it’s worth taking the time, reading the instructions carefully, and making sure that you set everything up correctly. That investment of time and effort will pay huge dividends because this set up is like nothing you’ve ever Heard short of actually playing in front of a band. I highly recommend this.

A good first generation product but... Also, we should be playing with headphones more often IMO.
I like these quite a bit but the connection between guitar and smart phone tends to get disconnected a lot. I think most of that is wifi router interference. When I changed rooms it helped significantly. But I also feel like maybe this is an excellent effort at a first gen product and maybe in a couple more years V2 will arrive and be even better, just like what happened with Katana amps. And I'm just not using it as often as I envisioned. I'll "suffer" with my Katana amp and wired headphones for now. If I used the wired headphones even 50 times between now and when V2 eventually comes out I'd be surprised. LOL. I will say though that hearing yourself AND the recording/band you're playing along with is a whole different experience than playing along with it NOT in headphones. YOU are integrated SO MUCH better in the mix, it's crazy. You ARE IN THE BAND. I did love that! That's not a direct result of this product as far as I know, just an observation about playing along with recordings while using headphones period. I think this also really sharpens your timing and makes you really clean up your playing. I don't think average players, myself included, spend enough time using headphones. You'll notice the studio guys ALWAYS HAVE HEADPHONES ON these days when tracking! I think it helps more than us mortals realize!

I'm free from tangled up cables, Headphone cables always in the way. All I want to do is grab my guitar, put the Waza air phones on and play.I could lay down on my bed get comfortable be relaxed and play better. I could even go out on my balcony on a beautiful day and play guitar outside, or on the beach,in the park, even take it camping. No Latency with Waza Air. Great sounding headphones. Comfortable over the ear and removable ear pads, just pull them off if they ever need to be replaced, they easily snap back on,held in place with strong magnets, don't worry they won't budge. High quality guitar headphones they could easily handle loud electric guitar and bass with no fear of blowing them out. You even get those great BOSS pedal effects and 5 amplifier sounds. I'm glad I finally got this Waza-Air system. Plus, and I must be honest here, I love playing it, it is so choice , if you have the means I highly recommend picking one up.

I like the ambient room feel. Was a little confusing to connect Bluetooth midi and audio, but once you have it connected it is great! I like that I can jam with YouTube backing tracks or play along to learn songs using the Bluetooth audio in the one headphone amp.
