Great buy
Anyone that wears glasses should have this kit at home in the event you need to adjust your glasses. I can't see a thing without my glasses, and this saves me having to go to the eye doctor to have small things fixed.

Saved $600
Very good tool set. I was able to take two pairs of glasses, one had a good frame the other had good lenses and make a good pair of glasses out of the two. That saved me from having to pay $600.00 for another “designer” pair of glasses. Videos are on the web on “how to”. These tools should last a life time.

Poor quality of plastic parts
Well it works as a poor copy of Silhouette technician kit. As many others - had bridge broken on my rimless Silhouette glasses and instead of spending over 200$ for brand new frame decided to repair it by myself. Bought similar looking Chinese knock off for 18$ and added this repair kit. Was able to transfer old lenses to new frame without trouble, however some learning curve required. What disappointed me is the poor quality of the plastic parts. They barely survived a couple of installations.

Decent repair kit for Silhouette rimless glasses
This is a decent repair kit for repairing Silhouette rimless glasses. It comes with a pressing plier, a demolition plier and a cutting plier plus other accessories. These include drilling holders, a hole pin and compression brushings for mounting the bridge and temple arms on the glasses. The material and build quality of the stainless steel pliers is decent. The plastic jaws are just okay, but spare ones are provided. There are no instructions provided with the tools. That being said, there are YT videos that show you how to use them properly for the repair. The only issue I have with this kit is that the small plastic parts are sort of loose everywhere inside the plastic case. I wish they put them all in a little zip-lock bag or something. If you have rimless glasses that you wish to repair yourself, this kit is for you. If you have full-frame or semi-rimless glasses, this kit is not going to help. As mentioned earlier, the quality of the kit is just decent. For occasional DIY repair, it is pretty cost-effective and would do the job.

who needs instructions when there's YouTube?
Ordered this set of repair tools to repair my brand-new rimless glasses that I promptly sat on and squashed into oblivion (yeah, I'm old). I'm pretty darn good at repairing things as I'm a guitar technician and instrument restorer. If I am unsuccessful, it won't be the fault of this well-made set of tools.

Cutting pliers broke during first use
This is my first experience trying to replace rimless frames. I bought this kit to replace damaged Silhouette Titan frames with new ones. I was able to replace the frames (although I left some scratches near lens holes). That said, the cutting pliers broke when I was cutting off tips of compression sleeves. The cutting pliers are made of steel, yet the steel cracked near the pliers' fulcrum (pivot point). I had to return the kit for a refund.
