We have a huge old pecan tree, so use them in everything. This shelter is indispensable. We often give these nuts as gifts with one of these shellers.

Finally! No more broken pecans!
Took a few tries to get the technique down, but amazing!! No more smashed pecans and walnuts! Note: wear eye protection. Stray shell bits sometimes go flying, especially once you get going!

It works
I have only used it on English walnuts. It is so different from what I've used before that I don't particularly care for it. It absolutely does work perfectly well.

If you need a good, sturdy pecan cracket, Texan is the one.
Really like the strength of this product. Popped so many pecans and it held up to the job.
