Affordable luxury necessity
I thought it was a typo. 4800 paper straws for $20? These are usually in packs of 20 for $2-$3 at most stores. Yes, you're buying in bulk, but you're getting $480 worth of straws for the price of only 200 straws.Better yet, these are the absolute best paper straws I've ever used. The box says they'll keep their shape for 5 hours in liquid. I've left them in a cup overnight where the ice melted. So ~12-14 hours, and they still worked just fine. VERY different from other paper straws I've used.Pros: Made in USA. The dyes and colors meet US and Europe safety standards. They're bendy (never seen bendy paper straws). They come in a large box with 8 individually marked boxes inside, each with 600 straws per box.Cons: All the boxes are cardboard. There's zero plastic of any kind in the product (good), but also all of the packaging is plastic-free. This is a con if the box is dropped in an unclean liquid, or kept in a dusty place (garage?), etc.I wrapped each 600ct box in saran wrap for storage purposes. Everything arrived in premium condition, so I'm not at all worried about the product, but some sort of overall plastic barrier would've been desired.
