SHDIATOOL 7Pcs 4 Inch Dry Diamond Polishing Pads White Buff for Granite Marble Stone Countertops Grinding Disc Pads

I used these on the cut ends of Marble tile. I'm renovating a Large bathroom with a hot tub. I'll post a couple Pre-Polish and a couple Post-Polish. I did use 3 different tools (4 1/2 grinder, 1/2" drill with an arbor, and a 3/8" drill with an arbor).They all worked very well and passed my Glossy Test. Safety First, Make sure you wear eye protection, good mask, and gloves if warranted. Tighten up loose clothing and long hair.After Polishing, treat end with a Penetrating Sealer.

I cut a small 16"x18" piece of granite for a project, and the proceeded to try to polish out the edges with this pad set. The velcro on the backer pad failed for some reason during the relatively short period of time after using the two heavier grits. I made sure to apply light pressure with my grinder and was also using a variable speed control in order to keep the speed below the recommended 4000 rpm. Maybe it was a just a random failure, but I certainly didn't get my money's worth out of this set!

My husband does granite countertops for a living. He goes through a lot of polishing pads. He said that these are awesome for the price. He was happy that it came with the backing and that it’s rubber so it bends with the stone. So far he was able to polish 3 sinks, and it’s still lasting. Not sure yet how long these will last but for the price he’s happy already! We are definitely ordering again!

Been using these pads on a side grinder to refinish some marble counter tops that were etched. I've only done about 5 square feet but so far they work well and seem like they have a fair amount of life to them. They only thing I've noticed is that the hook and loop fastener is coming loose on the rubber backer. Was able to reglue it so no big deal.

I would not recommend this to anyone. The sanding pads them selves are good and were doing the job, but after 5 min of on and off use the backer pad broke apart and and the Velcro came unglued from the pad and rubber pieces went flying. The actual sanding pad still attached to the Velcro also went flying into the side of my house which damaged my siding. Fortunately I had on eye protection and the plastic pieces that flew toward my face bounced off my goggles and the disk missed my head. Very scary.

These 3000 grit discs are most useful for polishing smooth surfaces to a glass-like finish. Most diamond assortments contain just one 3000-grit disc. If you do a lot of polishing you will find yourself doing a lot with 3000 grit and needing this set.

I have been fabricating granite counters for a over ten years and have used a lot of polishing pads. These actually work better than some supplier brands. I used them for a vanity. I got the sink hole, and backsplashes polished and they still look new. The price makes it even better. For DIY people looking to polish the top or (face) of granite with these, it's not gonna happen. You need a lot of skill and wet pads.

Polished up approx. 10 ft of three quarter inch granite edging. The finish was okay, passable I guess but a little wavey due to the soft rubber backing.
