I bought these lights to hang in a small tree at Christmastime. I loved the look of them! And I loved the fact that they gave me a way to recycle my canning jars. Rain didn't harm them. The problem was that in between the short, cloudy days around Christmastime and the fact that batteries don't do well in cold weather, they only held their charge a couple of hours. I think they will be more effective in the summer.

I had a bunch of random jars around the house and I put these lights in every one I could find. Some of the lids were a little hard to twist on, but they eventually went on correctly. They're beautiful in colored jars, too. They make my deck seem whimsical, and I love them!

*Way* too expensive when you consider the mason jars ARE NOT included.

Love this product! I have bought several as gifts. You just need to buy Mason jars to put the lights and solar covers on. Very pretty affect at night!
