Sturdy, bright strong colors, moveable tabs.

I bought these to use for my children's lapbooking projects. When I received them, I was dismayed to see that there was black printing on all sides, directions on how to fold. This isn't evident in the product picture, or I wouldn't have purchased them, knowing they wouldn't work for what I needed them for.Color - The green, yellow, and orange are really bright and pretty. The blue is more of a faded denim color, and the red is a faded brick red.Texture - They were pretty thin but sturdy. They seem a little flimsier than regular cream-colored manila folders.Size - I didn't experiment with the folding options, since I knew immediately that I'd be returning them, but they seemed a bit small so I placed a piece of regular printer paper in one. The front flap of the folder didn't cover the paper entirely, leaving about inch of it unprotected all the way across except for where the center tab was. You can adjust the fold to give more height to the front, but then it would barely cover the paper on both sides. Adding any width to the contents of the folder would expose more of the contents at the top.All in all, if you aren't filing more than a few papers per folder and don't care if they're printed on, these may work well for you, and they're a great price. They aren't what I needed for our projects, nor would I use them for filing (not enough protection at the top), so I returned them and found similar, non-printed, slightly-bigger folders at the Dollar Tree.

The file folders are what I expected and the colors are bright and I am using them for my personal documents.Thank you.

These were better than I expected! I wanted color folders at a good price. These have a really cool extra feature. Each folder can have the left, center or right tab! Genius idea!! Plus, they made it easy to figure out how to make that happen. Each folder has arrows to tell you where to fold to get the tab position you want.These are not heavy duty folders, but I didn't expect that at this price, nor do I need heavy duty folders.

I love the vibrant colors, and I REALLY love that I can change the location of the tab by the way that I fold the folder! HOWEVER, the cardstock used to make these folders is a little less what I was hoping for in terms of strength. It does feel like a weaker material, and not as sturdy as a regular manila folder. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and will make it again!

I'm an inspector who's on the road 4-5 days a week and needed colored folders to quickly identify each day. Having 5 colors, these fit the bill perfectly.Each folder can be folded differently to provide either a left, center or right tab. I'm not sure what other reviewers are referring to regarding the tab sizes. The tabs are all uniform in the batch I received. Maybe this is an issue that the manufacturer has already addressed.These folders suit my needs perfectly and I will purchase them again in the future.

This will get the job done. However, I am a teacher and folded them in towards the center to make a lap book. When the file folders were folded the creases did not have any color. Cheaper quality but will get the job done. Not as sturdy or cardstock-like as regular file folders.
