Great test bag
Wasn't sure which ones to get for my server cabinet so I went with one of these. I now know which ones to get packs of and will be looking forward to getting more

Painless Installation
If you’re contemplating switching to “Rack Studs”, make the switch today! Much easier installing than conventional rack nuts and screws. Two concerns to be mindful of; one being don’t use a driver for tightening, as these will strip out the philips head of the fastener, and make sure to install the stud properly or you’ll run into spacing issues. Checkout the pics provided here on Amazon and use a philipshead screwdriver and you’ll be set.

Great Product
Great alternative to the old clip/screw method. Much easier and much faster. Only one issue that kept me from giving it 5-stars - be careful if you use a screwdriver, you can snap them without applying much pressure. That is the only weak point I see.

Do Their Job
They are really convenient and easy to use just make sure to not overtighten them as i did have a few occasions where i snapped some off maybe a torque screw next time to prevent it?

Red version fits just nicely for Startech 4U open frame rack
The red version fits just nicely for my Startech 4U open frame rack; no issues installing it and is very sturdy for a UDMSE and 1U rack shelf. Definitely more convenient and easier than traditional cage nuts especially if you plan to move equipment around frequently or do a lot of testing.

Love em
They are expensive imo but they are great if u swap around often in your racks. Even though they wear out a bit over time

Do what they say. not sure i trust them for mobile racks
these do what they say and are easy to both install and to install the kit on to. SO much better than inserting bloody cage nuts! I do feel it would be easy to over-tighten them, especially for your junior techs. In a static rack in a comms room or data centre, I think these are going to be great! which is of course their intended use. However I was planning on using them in event-based mobile rack cases and sleeves where we are swapping kit in racks all the time, I don't feel they will have the robustness needed for being in a flight case chucked in and out of vans. I'm happy to be proved wrong :)
