13604 Circus Waffler, Yellow

The waffle maker gets too hot and burns the waffles before the light goes off signaling them to be done. Had to be vigilant and stand and wait about half the cooking time before taking them out. It's a cute idea having the animal shapes.

I guess I shouldn't complain for the price I paid, but this waffle maker stinks. The heating element has hotspots which makes it impossible to cook waffles that don't burn. The clown always burns, but at the same time the other two waffles don't cooked all the way through.This happens with every single batch. I think we've made three or so batches to do.Disappointing product - don't buy!

Just like everyone said, this wafflemaker has hot spots so in some places your waffle burns and in other places your waffle barely cooks. The shapes are fun for the kida though.

Gift for my sister so she could make cute waffles for her Grand daughter. She was totally entertained! Great gift

Grabbed this from savers, so it was in used condition. The reviews were so terrible that it’s actual performance exceeded our expectations. It’s a novelty waffle maker folks. For kids. It’s not about high quality, it’s about the fun factor. We cleaned it with dish soap and a toothbrush, then oiled in thoroughly (not with spray). The green “ready” light never came on but it made the waffles just fine, the cook time getting shorter by half every round. Our kids loved it. We garnished with strawberries and whipped cream. We used maple grove farm waffle mix, and the non-Belgium recipe. Would make again for sure.

I found this at Ross and decided to get it after I donated my mothers sunbeam waffle iron from back in the 80's or 90's. My daughter (4) thought the animals were very cute and fun to have for breakfast so that is a bonus. The disadvantage is the fact that it is still harder to clean. You have to use nonstick spray to keep batter from baking on and then find a way to clean it afterwards. Remember, this isnt like basic nonstick cookware, this is an appliance and you can't simply run it under the faucet.

Unhappy with this waffle maker for many reasons.I used cooking spray before making waffles. It's a good thing, because even with the sprayed surface, it was hard to get the waffle out.Each batch was harder to remove. I ended up prying the waffle loose with a butter knife.The outside of the waffle maker was hot and no handle provided to keep from getting burned.I ended up using oven mitts to avoid the intense heat of the outer surface.There is no easy way to clean this.I used a new toothbrush with dish soap on it to clean the crevices.Don't waste your money. Mine is probably heading for the garbage.
