Outstanding ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
You need to see this very special filmNicole Conns unmissable and unforgettable More Beautiful for Having Been Broken hits you like a shot in the heart.Smaller, independent films are gathering interest worldwide through international streaming sites and this movie is a prime example of why streaming sites are vital for the independent movie industry to be able to tell their stories without the constraints of the Hollywood Studios and this movie gives you the feeling of wings being spread.Written and directed with piercing intelligence and delicacy by Nicole Conn this movie is a treasure chest of talent with outstanding performances from the whole cast, a beautiful score, gorgeous mountain cinematography and artful dance sequences all beautifully crafted together with a great script full of emotion & humour. The film is littered with beautiful extreme long shots of a McKenzie (Zoë Ventoura), an FBI agent on leave running literally and symbolically, alone through the mountains with the viewer never knowing if she is running from or too something.Fans of Zoë in the wonderful Packed to the Rafters will see a very different performance as a she has matured into one of Australia’s most charismatic actors whose presence on screen prevents you from looking away. The chemistry between McKenzie and Samantha (Kayla Radomski) sizzles from their first meeting to the dance scene, which is a potent fusion of an erotic dance and the push and pull as both women need to take control and lose control. The backbone of the story is Freddie (played superbly by Cale Ferrin) the son of single Mum Samantha. His unbroken spirit, despite his condition, show’s how rich his life is and how rich he makes everyone else’s life just by being in it. Freddie is the sun that the residence of Lake Mervielle orbit around. This is absolutely riveting cinema rich, spacious and passionate. Yes at first glance this may be a movie for the LGBT community and I’m sure the majority of audience who see this film will be those faithful supporters but this is more than a “lesbian love story” it’s a story of letting go, moving on and opening up.

Cale Ferrin made this film great
I really enjoyed the film .Its kind of 'arty' in the way its directed . Normally its not my kind of thing but it all made sense at the end . Freddie's character was beautiful and a fab actor played him.It felt low budget and some of the acting was quite bad but I enjoyed the 3 main characters. The chemistry was great and the story was a little different. I'd watch it again for free on prime but I wouldn't recommend spending much money on it .Overall 4 stars as I'm in a good mood :-)

Disappointed
Not at all what I had hoped for. Have loved all of Nicole Conn`s previous films, and as this had Zoe Ventoura starring I thought I couldn`t go wrong. Was I ever wrong. This film had far more scenes of ballet than I think necessary. I was let down from a seller in US so decided to watch it on Prime. So glad I did. Saved myself cash. Maybe when I find this in Amazons bargain basket years from now I might buy it and watch it again. Can`t believe every review I`ve read thinks it`s great. Guess it`s just me then. Still think 10 minutes could have been shaved off it, I`d probably have enjoyed it much more. 5 stars to Zoe Ventoura though

Great love story But
Not enough romance. I was a bit disappointed as I watched Elena Undone and expected this to be as good as or better than. It was a very loving story but the ending left things a bit confusing. There was no showing of them getting back together. It was a bit rushed I felt at the end.
