Lee OskarHarmonicas Harmonica, cream,gold (1910RP)

Had an old D harp that i played for the past 25 years. Some reeds were out of tune. Replaced the reed plates and cleaned it up and now it plays great and is in perfect tune! The reeds were set up (gapped) just right, and I am picky about the set up! I usually need to spend extra time on a new harp, out of the box, to get it right but this was quick and easy. This is a very nice, responsive, professional quality harp!!

After playing harmonica for over 45 years, And being a strong supporter of Lee Oskar Harps, I am extremely disappointed in these replacement reeds. I take apart my Harmonicas to clean and perform PM's on them. I have a complete set. Never had a problem. This set didn't fit well and they had a couple bad reeds. Put my old set back in and they sound good. Save your time and buy new. I believe they're quality control on new harps is top notch. I it seems these these replacement reeds might be 2nd's!!! Buyer beware!!

These work great and save you lots of money on new harps.You'll need a very small Phillips screwdriver, a strong grip and some patience!

This was my first time changing out the reed plates, and it's a bit of a bear. These harps are obviously put together by machines and the tolerances - gaps between the different parts - are very minimal. Trying to recreate them by hand, getting the harp back to a nice, airtight fit, required a couple of clamps. That said, once I got everything back in its proper place the harp played like new.

This is the key I use most when playing. It plays in the key of "A", cross harp (look it up). Good product. Lee Oskars are great harps. The replacement reedplates just make it so much easier to repair when the reeds go south, which they do eventually, after so many thousands of vibrations. Brass reeds don't last forever.

Bought these instead of a whole new harp in order to change keys. Top notch quality and easy to install.

I've been playing blues harp for 26 years, and I usually prefer Lee Oskar harmonicas. Sadly, when these replacement reeds arrived, they were clearly off. The first, lowest reed rattled big time. After attempting to undo the screws on the reed plates (in an effort to return the reeds), I accidentally snapped a reed. I contacted Lee Oskar about the problem via e-mail weeks ago, but haven't received the courtesy a response. I'm done with Lee Oskar! So disappointed.

Cheaper than Hohner. The prices went through the roof!! I have a complete set of Hohner blues harps. Also a complete set of Lee Oskars. The Lee Oskars are what I play now because it seems that Hohner does not want to sell their products.
