A very big improvement for a reasonable price, easy to use, convenient and great audio quality
This tiny little thing is awesome. I have a 2012 Audi, so it has the older phone-only bluetooth (MMI but pre-A2DP I think) that can't handle streaming bluetooth music. This CarPro is a plug and play instant solution and it worked very well out of the box and is all around very easy to use. I had the same issue as most people where if you try to have both your car's bluetooth and this one going you can hear little skips every now and then in the music. That's no big deal, but the problem is that when someone calls you this thing makes the call sound crappy/choppy. Just turn off your car's bluetooth and the skips go away and the sound quality is fantastic. I'm using a samsung s5 with spotify with this and the in car controls work for simple things like skipping songs and pause/play which is very handy. When someone calls me now while I'm driving, the phone handles pausing the music and I can answer it or generally just wait to call them back. If it's really important and I have to talk to them while driving I can unpair from the CarPro and re-pair with my car (I only do this for call-in meetings really), but generally I just call them back in a few minutes when I stop.I highly recommend this, for $75 or so it has transformed my car audio into the most convenient and the best sounding I've ever experienced. I went with this over the tune2air because the tune2air seemed to be geared a lot more towards iphone. This carpro works great with android - I love how whenever I get back into my car it starts seamlessly working from my pocket right where I left off without me ever needing to press a single button and I can do most of what I need to from my steering wheel controls (except for changing playlists). There's no interference with other bluetooth devices that I've noticed like my MS smart band or other people's devices or anything either. This means that likely the skipping issue is the car audio management temporarily switching between inputs. The only other drawback, which doesn't affect me because only I drive my car, is that it can only pair with one device at a time. So if you were sharing it, you'd need to unpair on yours to let someone else play music - I think.

Works AWESOME! Pandora/Spotify/Apple Music (Cloud) all work easily from your phone in your Audi!
This thing is awesome. I'm using with my 2016 Audi S4 with the stereo that says "Audi concert" (non-MMI), which has the stereo knobs and buttons all on the dash (above the climate controls and not down by the shifter/armrest area). I'm playing music from my iPhone 6SE (latest iOS version 11.x).THIS THING WORKS! It is 99.9% perfect and if you are bummed b/c you spent over $50k on an Audi that doesn't even stream music thru bluetooth, this will make you happy again!Positives:- Music streaming works well.- When a call interrupts everything works fine and it behaves totally seamlessly. (same behavior as native streaming in a VW) Once the call is over it goes back to the music.- It shows the name of the artist/song/album and elapsed time of the track playing. (even if it's Spotify/Pandora/etc)- The skip forward/backward buttons work correctly.- The when you click the volume knob to mute, it pauses what is playing on your iPhone, instantly. (I read someone else's review saying it plays for something like 15-30 seconds, but I simply have not experienced this at all even once.)- When you click again it starts right where you left off.- Once you are connected you are 100% good for the rest of your drive.Negatives:- Occasionally doesn't connect right. When this happens all I do is go to the bluetooth menu on my iPhone, it will say "CarPro - Connected", but even so just click on it again, it will show the spinner for a split second and then you are connected instantly. (really not a big deal considering how well it does everything else)- I would say sound quality is not as good as a CD on the same stereo, but is at least as good as it was in my 2012 VW GLI that had built in bluetooth streaming. I don't think that's an issue with this product, but with the limitations of bluetooth streaming for music and digital music compression maybe.- Sometimes the songs listed above/below the currently playing one are incorrect, but the highlighted song that is currently playing is ALWAYS correct.
