Easy install, works as it should

There's not too much I can say about this one. It is great, and was a one-for-one replacement for my air vent. The product looked to be high quality from the look of the build, and fit perfectly.My second vent started acting up, so I got a second one to replace it. Would recommend MAXXAIR parts if they make a replacement for your vent.

Perfect fit. Great replacement part.

Fast and easy install. Just 2 screws and a couple of tension fittings that require minimal hand strength to release. The instructions are correct, some folks are just holding the part backwards it seems. My first-time repair took about 10 minutes including finding the screwdriver. Quality of metal seems to match the original and will likely fracture with time and use as the original did, but it works well.

The instructions say to turn the gear clockwise to line it up for fully open, this did not work, it had to be turned counterclockwise. You can tell based on which way the hex gear turns when you twist the lower gear, and how your fan arms work. Other than that, this part worked perfectly for our maxxair fan. I just wish there was a bit more durability in this part as they seem to break easily over time.

Product allows the maxxfan lift mechanism to work. It would appear to be a part that fails. My one took at least 5 years to fail. It was a simple process to fit and now works great.
