Fantastic!
All of Tad's books are delightful, this one was a big hit with my 2 yr old grandson from the second we opened the cover to the first open up page. Sturdy enough for him to handle himself too.

Highly recommended for infants through early readers!!!
My one-year-old son loves to lift the flap and see who's driving the vehicle! A great book that will be enjoyable for all kids through early readers! This is a somewhat novel take on the lift-the-flap type of book. Each time you open the book, the left-hand page has a description of the vehicle driver and the right-hand page has a flap that is the full width of the page and opens downward (instead of the small paper flaps that are usually covering a small part of the page on most lift-the-flap books). This makes for a sturdier book (especially for younger kids) and more illustrations under the flap. This book makes a great early learning tool, too, as there are plenty of opportunities to use this book for counting, identifying common items, etc. It's somewhat unusual that the color theme is secondary colors (purple, green, orange) rather than primary colors often seen in children's books, but that's a fun departure from what's common in children's books.Overall, highly recommended, five stars!!!UPDATE: When I wrote my review, we didn't own a copy of this book, but checked it out from the library occasionally. Then, we had to take our son on a cross-country flight and needed a few surprise toys/books to have on hand to whip out if he became fussy -- and this was one of the items we bought for that purpose. Sure enough, when he got fussy, we pulled out this book -- it is one of those moments that I wish I'd recorded, because he flapped his arms and wiggled his fingers and could not wait to get this book into his hands. Of course, we read it 10x in a row to him on that flight (no exaggeration). A few months later, this is still one of my kid's absolute favorite books, AND the unusual color scheme of this book prompted him to learn the colors "orange", "purple", "green", and "yellow" and say these words clearly and appropriately by 15 months. We completely credit this book for that leap in development. A masterpiece.
