Best amp for the money period.
After installing these amps into multiple vehicles and being very impressed with performance I decided to try one for myself. I sold my jl slash 1000/1 and ran the apcl 1500@ 3 ohms to a jl12w7 and damn did it rock without sacrificing any quality. I decided to change it up a bit running the same apcl 1500.1 i decide to sell the w7 and go with a little more boom. I am now running 2 10" orion hcca's. These subs are 1250 rms a piece this amp hammered these subs. The most impressive thing yet is that i mistaked these subs for a dual 4 ohm and actually they are a dual 2 ohm voice coil. This amp is 1 ohm stable I had mistakenly ran them at .5 an ohm for over a week now no smoke no damage on the third day this amps protective circuitry did its job 100% and shut it down preventing any issues and in my diagnosis for why I found that I was running them at .5 ohm. There are videos showing this amp on a dyno doing more then what its rated if you are considering you should check it out. From the 1000 watt to the 3000 watt these amps do what they are supposed to and for the price I will stand by audiopipe any day. You will not be disapointed in this purchase. Update after running 10" h2s for awhile decided to upgrade to 2 12" orion h2s same amps bought a high output alt and still going strong. I now have 2 apcl1500 and they slam my orions so hard my windows and all body panels flex. Audiopipe continues to exceed my expectations.

Like professional competition stuff not backyard bs
Ive been in car audio about 5 years. Like professional competition stuff not backyard bs. I run alot of skar audio ct sounds and sundown components and subs. (Skar is my favorite by far!) and i had this amp on 2/0 power wire d4 battery stock altinator and on 2 ddx skar 12s and it was doing an insane beating on those subs even if they can take realisticly 2 of these amps strapped. But the lows are insane. And the highs will make your ears wanna jump off your head. I bought this amp bc a buddy of mine whose been in audio for about 20 years told me about it bc i couldnt afford an sk model amp. I hooked it up and was litterally shocked that an amp under 200 dollars did this. It is heavy very well made i took mine apart and looked at the components inside and they are just as good as any other too shelf amp out there. I promise you wont have a single complaint about them. Any of the comments on here about them breaking is for the most part user error not enough voltage or whatnot bad ground. There is NOTHING wrong with this amp and yes it will take true 4 gauge. I used reducer connectors. To run my 2/0 wire. Extra battery definetly recomended. But not expensive at all. Less than 2 hundred for all wire ,battery ,connectors etc. i give this amp a 100% rating just bc of the power and sound quality your getting out of it.

Sheer power!! A few minor issues that may bother audiophiles...
This amplifier puts out serious power! The good: This amplifier does rated power, and then some! Massive capacitors allow this amplifier to put out bursts of 3000 watts of clean signal into a 0.5 ohm load on "dynamic burst." I am running this to my Alpine Type R 10" subwoofer in a t-line enclosure. The amp is seeing a 1.9 ohm load without box rise, and the gain is set just over "parallel," or about 1/8 of the way up. I LOVE the headroom, the clean output, and the sheer amount power this delivers to my music! At this price point, this amplifier is extremely capable, well built, and it looks great. So what gives? The bad: Unfortunately, this amplifier has a couple major flaws that may or may not be of concern to you. Output takes a dive above 50 Hz. YOU WILL ONLY GET LINEAR RESPONSE BELOW 50 Hz!!! This presented a few problems during installation and tuning. To my ears, this is the most prominent flaws in my system. In retrospect, I wish I wold have spent a more on my amplifier. Another issue this amplifier has, is its equalizer. The boost feature is essentially a parametric EQ with a frequency selector (awesome idea, but not the best execution). On this amp, it introduces loads of group delay and it seems to degrade quality quite a bit. This wouldn't be an issue if you could simply switch this feature off, but you cant. With the boost knob all the way down, you can still hear a difference in sound as you rotate the frequency selector. My final issue with this amplifier is simply the bass knob. It introduces too much distortion to be useful for me. Every bass knob degrades signal quality to some extent, but this one, in particular, I would not recommend using. Despite these issues, the crossovers seem to work quite well. I would love to see this amplifier with a more linear response, and switch to turn off the bass boost feature. Not a single amplifier would be able to touch this beast!Noteworthy: The amplifier can run quite hot at times. Conclusion: If you just want to add loads clean, deep bass to your system, this amplifier is for you, and I highly recommend it! However, if you are chasing sound quality, I would recommend looking into another amplifier.
