Ken Hom Flat Bottom Stir Fry Wok, 14", Carbon Steel

This is an excellent tool for preparing stir frys! A wok is not an easy purchase to make online. Without being able to hold it in your hands and test the weight or feel of the handle in your hand or judge the craftsmanship you don’t know what will arrive on your doorstep. I am pleased with this purchase. I reviewed many other woks online Amazon and elsewhere and I am very happy I chose this one. It has allowed me to step up my stir fry game! I recommend it without reservations!

I’m pretty critical about my cookware and this wok seems like it will be a staple in my kitchen for a long time. The base is very thick and will resist warping. The nonstick coating is tough and have not seen any indication that it will peel anytime soon. It’s also a great size, fits in the cupboard and isn’t cumbersome to use. Highly recommended!

I like the wok, the quality is good, easy to clean, I like the sloped shape, and the handle is very nice to hold. I can't give it 5 stars because the handle is wobbly. It was loose when I got it and there is a screw you can tighten with a screwdriver, which I did. However, almost after every use, it is loose/wobbly again. So, I have to tighten it again. Slightly annoying, but not a deal-breaker.

Small part of the rim had a dent on it. Handle also had some dents. Helper handle slightly loose. Put on electric stove for seasoning. Warped instantly and rocks like a boat and presents a safety hazard. As the primary quality of a wok is efficient heat transfer, the wok is now useless sheet metal.

No complaints whatsoever. Recommended by a chef on the YouTubes and we took a chance on it. We've used it a handful of times since it arrived and it's awesome. It's legit non-stick and the food turns out yummy. What else can I say? I'm not a wok expert, but I'm happy with this one.

Works better than the last non-stick wok I had. I watched the video and seasoned it twice, works amazing. For seasoning I scuffed it with a green kitchen scotch brite pad and soap quite well. Then put it on the stove in high with canola oil just like the video showed. Then I let it cool and went through another oil cycle. Works fantastic.

I use this wok daily. it is easy to use, and easy to clean. Its perfect for one or two people, but may be a little small for a family. I may buy another just as back up.

Love the handle & the weight. However, it's not round. It left a gap between the cover & the wok. If u need to steam anything it's not going to work for you. I didn't return it coz i've already throw away the original package. & again... Love the handle & the weight.

Doesn't have stability on the stove, you have to hold it very well or else you end up with your food on the floor. Is too heavy. I will not recommend is you don't have experience in making Chinese food.

I was expecting the wok in a round shape, but it's not, see the photos. Very disappointed, can I return it? don't like the shape
