Quality lighting
I have a small pond with a brass crane spitter and I wanted to gently light up the arcing water, bird and pond water. It is perfect!! Just the right amount of light and it is an LED so it should last for a long time. We have used the Aquascape brand for years for our water features and it is made well and of good materials. It has a small base that allows it to sit on the bottom or a spike you can put in the ground. You’ll love it!

BASE IS PLASTIC and light weight - Expected all aluminum for this $$$ price
I haven't even plugged it in and already rating it a 2. My immediate gripe is the BASE IS PLASTIC and super custom so there's no way to hold the light it when the plastic breaks. The housing slips into a cradle with 2 ribs that hold it. At this price, the whole thing should be metal!!!! The base has broken on all of my previous lights from other brands even when the light housing is okay. The base is also very light weight, so I'll have to place rocks to keep the light in place - more likely damage to the base. The housing is smaller than I expected, but that won't affect anything.

Wow completely over delivered best aqua light I have ever used.
They did a major upgrade from their previous version. This is really bright and can make any landscape look so good. Water or no water it does not matter this product is amazing I have bought 3 so far for my waterfall and have bought my waterfall kit from Aquascape. Their products are of the highest quality and user friendly, if you are a DYI person like me then go with this companies product.

Lousy product, terrible customer support
I put 5 of these in my pond less than 6 months ago and I noticed a few weeks ago that they were corroding and then pulled them out to look. On top of that, one already had a burnt out bulb! I contacted a few pond installers in the area and they said they some times have the same issues with these not holding up. They are contracted to sell Aquascape so they have no choice but to use these. I contacted Aquascape and they said they only do exchanges as I requested a full refund. I would have been OK with an exchange, but all 5 of 5 had this exact same problem!! Their customer service policy is terrible. They asked me if my water had harsh chemicals and I explained that I have 8 thriving koi and all my plants are doing fine. They would have been dead long before corrosion showed up on the lights if I had bad chemicals in the pond. All the numbers in my pond are testing ideal for a koi pond. I would shop around seriously before investing in these for your pond.

Solid feel; well made, even if a bit pricey.
I would have given this five stars, except that it seems a bit pricey. It's well made and has a solid feel. I have two, for each of our water gardens.

worked just fine for our boulder fountain project
Needed another 1 watt light for our new fountain after having just a single waterfall upllight. Needed to accent the front face of the waterfall as well and this did the job wonderfully, with the shadow and light, allowed us to see the real character of the boulder fountain at night.

wear out after a season or two
Work great when new, but after a while get very dim. Bought these and the much cheaper amazon options from jaebo and to be honest the cheaper ones are out lasting these more expensive options. And yes I clean the lenses to make sure its not from build up.

I just replaced the old burnt out light with the new one. It works fine.

Have had this light in my pond for a couple years now and it’s still working like new. Can’t ask for anything more than that.

The light is fine and is as described. It was my mistake to think that it was a replacement for an earlier model that was made of brass and was much smaller.

I installed a set in my pond last summer and 2 of the 3 lights in the string have water in them and done give off much light at all. Contacting the seller for support, so hopefully it’s not a hassle.

Heavy little lights. Machined aluminum. Worth the money.
