SIL20 Stainless Steel Gazing Globe Ball, Silver, 20-Inch

WOW!! I didn't realize just how large this gazing ball is but it will surely make an impact on my garden project. I found a half bowl shaped concrete fountain on clearance locally and painted it hammered copper with a rustoleum paint and plan on using the gazing ball to sit inside. I was able to get this ball on a discount due to some minor flaws that I can't even see. And no offense to any prior reviewers but there in no dicernable seam that will detract from the overall effect. This will surely make a statement for my needs and will really add the magical touch I was looking for.

There is a seam, wouldn't make a good yard ornament.But I didn't buy it for that. I bought it for an engineering project. And it has met my expectations for that purpose. Probably larger than necessary for home use.

This is a real eye-catcher in the corner of our yard with a palm tree. It reflects the tree beautifully. I hope that it holds up well with time, as it was not inexpensive.

The gazing globe ball had a very pronounced weld seam 360 degrees around the circumference of the ball, not acceptable poor workmanship! The photo never revealed this flaw nor was there a description stating so. So be worn buyers, when buying a steel gazing ball of any kind that when they are being made they start out as two haves weld together to make a globe ball. YOU SHOULD NEVER SEE THE WELD SEAM!!! For the amount of money they were asking here for the globe that should have never happen!
