needs improvement- cradle slid out of bar mount
EXCELLENT FAST CUSTOMER SERVICE: they are solving my problem now. Took care of me very quickly. READ THE DIRECTIONS THAT CAME WITH AN EMAIL THAT THEY SENT.The bike mount come in two parts, The first part connects to the handlebars really well. the clamp adjust and locks in securely. Really nice. The second part of the holder slides into some notches on the handlebar mount side of it. This part was really loose. It doesn't take much effort to slide it back up and out.Edit: ( I later found out that the tabs need to be locked in by pushing harding until it clicks) and then the third part of this system , holds the phone, it works by squeezing the phone from the side with arms and then uses a rubber net type item to hold the phone at the corners. This part was really secure. I thought that everything would be ok with the loose notches because the rubber net will hole every thing togetherWe took the bike out on a 25 mile ride. All was going great, then we hit a bump at an intersection, The cradle part slid out of the bar mount. Causing my wife's iPhone 6+ to go flying down the bike path. Luckily the phone was still in the cradle, no damage to the phone. the cradle and the net held the phone. We put it back on and tried again, making sure that the cradle was all the way in the mount like last time. We rode for another mile and the same thing happened again. Still no damage to the phone, but the arms on the cradle are now cracked and nearly broken off. Phone now goes in the back pack along with the broken cradle.I originally posted this as a 1 star item, but later changed it to 4 star as I learned that I had not properly secured it.EXCELLENT FAST CUSTOMER SERVICE

So far so good!
I ordered one and it came in two days. I have used it twice. So far so good! I have an IPhone 6 in an Otter Box Defender case and it fits well. I own a Giant Roam 2 hybrid bike and ride mostly on paved bike trails. There are a couple of rough patches and I cross a gated railroad street crossing that is pretty rough and my phone stayed in place both times. My only complaint would be that the mount was too narrow to fit on the center of my handlebars. I had to move it down the right side and it obscures the gear indicator on the right side of the handle bars. Not a huge deal, but my preference would be to have it mounted more in the center of the bike. Also, the four corner rubber band strap seems very cheap. My fear is it will break or tear. Without that to help secure the phone, the holder will be useless. I guess time will tell, but for the price, I can order another one as a spare and still pay less than than my local, high priced, bike shop! If the rubber band lasts for a reasonable amount of time, I would give it 5 stars.

I really like it except for a few minor things
I've only just installed the mount to the bike and tested it out indoors. So far, I really like it except for a few minor things. The most important is that it only fit on one small part of my handlebars which are thicker where I wanted to mount it and then taper smaller towards the hand grips The device now blocks me from seeing what gear I'm in. Not a big deal as I just shift and never pay attention to gears. However, that might change in the future as I realize what gears I need for certain hills and things. It definitely took some force to attach the two pieces and leads me to believe those giving 1 star didn't snap the two together properly, or didn't tighten the swivel so the cradle doesn't flop around so easily. I just wish it came with a bigger clamp for the bars and more inserts if you need it for a smaller bar. I'll update this review further should I have anything further to add. I'm just happy to have a place to put my phone instead of my pocket or in a seat bag like I usually do.

Really great just make sure it's secured in right
After fully reviewing this item I can say this was really worth the money I spent on it. I bought two and both are fully functional absolutely no problems. At first I thought that it was going to be a flop because my phone fell off twice but I soon discovered that I actually didn't secure it properly like all the one star reviewers. In order for this to be secured properly you need to force the piece for the phone into the the piece for the bike until you hear a click. If you don't hear it the way you can check if it's in right is to try to take it out with little effort and if it comes out then it's not fully in. You need to actually try to get it out if the two pieces are fully connected. After I fully secured it by making sure that the pieces won't separate my phone has since never fallen out and I ride in pretty bumpy streets.Note: This is my initial review and I will change it once I have actually used it on the streets. This is more of a 3.5 than a 3. The reason I'm giving it a lower score for now is that it feels not so secure. The part you put your phone on and the part that mounts on your bike don't really have a secure method to stay on. Then I realized that the elastic band goes under the phone holder to keep it secure but I still have my doubts. Once I have some time I'll use this thing and see how well it stays together.

Make sure you have your phone secured properly before setting out on your ride!
I really wanted to love this product, but it turns out that I just kinda like it because it does give me easy access to my phone from my handlebars. There are 2 problems. One is that the written instructions are inscrutable. Well they were to me, anyway. The second is that my iphone 6 popped out of the mount and tumbled onto the street the first time I used it. Perhaps that's because of problem #1--I must not have had my phone secured correctly--but the instructions were not clear as to how to do that. A few pictures would go a long way, guys. Luckily, I have a good case on my phone and it landed so the screen wasn't damaged...but this thing is precarious if you don't have the rubber gasket thingy secured properly. User beware.
