I have a large head and I sweat a lot. I wanted a sleeping cap that’d not cut into my flesh and can also breathe. I’m so happy I bought this bonnet upon seeing the super wide band in the photo, albeit there was only one review and cheap. The band is over 2 inches wide and of a mesh material so it is super stretchy to fit any sized head, plus it’ll allow skin to breathe. It might not stay in place like the tight constructive elastic band if you toss turn roll around in your sleep, I don’t roll around much and I wear it over my ears so it stayed on all night. In any case, it’s far better than headaches, press marks in your forehead and sweatiness. I am happy that this is my first sleep cap purchase and that I didn’t have to keep ordering other expensive and restrictive ones swarming Amazon, like many other reviewers’ complaints under other items.FYI, I bought the single pack of black bonnet, can’t speak for the floral ones or the multipacks. Make sure you buy the one(s) whose photos appear to be the super-wide band.

Very beautiful. I was honestly really scared to buy these I didn't know what they would look like when I got them but they are exactly what I wanted I am African-American these are perfect for my hair so pretty and great product for the price very high quality thank you guys!

The quest for the perfect satin bonnet has come to an end!! I LOVE IT! Plenty of room for my long hair. The wide band is very comfortable. Stays in place all night. It’s the best looking one I’ve ever worn.

I just received these today, so Amazon hasn't given me the option to review as verified purchaser yet.As soon as I opened the package the heavy smell of chemicals was in my face. I decided it was best to wash them several times before using them (for safety), but decided to forego to test one tonight.I've had it on for 5 to 10 minutes now and1: there is actually a mild burning sensation on my ears and forehead where the band is touching.2: There's no way I can imagine this suiting the purpose I bought it for.Satin and silk sleep caps are supposed to slide on your pillow so your hair isn't getting jacked up so bad while you sleep. I have curly hair that I don't want looking like a tumbleweed when I wake up.So, as I'm laying here in bed writing this, I assure you, it doesn't slide on the pillow case. The fabric sticks to pillow on outside and my hair sticks to the fabric inside.I have my doubts about it staying on overnight because it grips the pillowcase, but that's yet to be seen.I will attempt sleeping in it tonight and see what happens then report back. I will be washing it repeatedly tomorrow to try killing the smell.Positive notes after brush inspection of cap 1 of 4:colors/ patterns are nice. You can feel like you're a fancy chef of you wear it while cooking (avoid open flame!), the band inside has a Serger stitch.and looks reasonably solid.If I can kill the smell I may use these for something other than sleeping .. not really sure. If I was painting I might wear it ton keep paint out of my hair.Ultimately I'll probably spend more and get a real silk sleep bonnet for actually sleeping, and a silk pillowcase of necessary.UPDATE: While it didn't come off my head while sleeping, it does slip considerably which leaves me with a ring of flat hair around my face where my curls have been crushed. Then I get a bride of Frankenstein vibe happening. I don't Luke these at all for a sleep bonnet or "preserving my hairstyle" as ghey claim to do. Still would be okay around the house if I'm cold, putting over a plastic processing cap, or using while doing something that would get stuff in my hair I want to avoid. Meh.

This is much better than wearing a bandanna to bed and it doesn't slide off. The band is comfortable, it doesn't give me headaches or leave marks on my forehead.

I run hot and have tried many hats to sleep in to keep the frizz to a minimum. This keeps the frizz out and doesn’t add any extra heat. I have super curly blonde hair and I won’t use another brand.

Love this cap. This is by far the best cap I have ever had to sleep on. I have 4c natural hair and I have been looking for a sleep cap that wouldn’t come out of my hair every night. After purchasing several and still having the same problems I can say I finally found the one. This cap stay in place no matter how much I move while sleeping . And it is very, very comfortable. It doesn’t hurt your forehead but it has just the right amount of pressure and flexibility to stay in place. If you are looking for a cap to protect your hair and that still allows you to sleep well this is the one. I recommend it.
