I’m used to using an epilator, so I know what that sort of sensation is like — and this one is more comfortable than my older model. I’ve only used it on my underarms and legs so far, and it does the job well without causing too much fuss. The charge lasts a long time, and it’s never run out mid-session, which is a big plus.

I previously used a Braun Silk-épil, which was more efficient, so I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5. This one works well and is much cheaper, but it’s a bit slower. It seems to grab fewer hairs per pass, so it takes longer to do a full leg. That said, it still gets the job done and it’s nice and quiet while working!

I’m writing this after years of owning it as it flagged up on my Amazon, it’s lasted the test of time and has always worked so well!

I got fed up of Reminton's burning out or breaking, Brain are painfully slow and I have an old Phillips Wet and Dry so, being impressed with it, although basic, thought I would upgrade. Oh boy!!!! Am I glad I did!!!!!! As a Muslim, I must depilate at least once every 40 says and, being disabled, traditional sugaring is beyond me these days. I have used epilators for 40 years and this is the best yet!!!!!!! It does not have loads of attachments, just the basics, but I love the "skin stretcher". Simple to use and the fast speed (there are 2, slow and fast) makes the job fast and painless, although I am immune these days. I don't get the same blotches as with others either so it is also gentle. It is easy to hold, always a bonus, and best of all, the charge lasts ages. I have done 2 whole body epilation plus tidy ups and only have just put it on charge now!!!!!!! This is brilliant for me as, if I leave myself too long, I top up depilate twice a week for 3 weeks (hair life cycle) to get to weekly run overs for summer. I am very, very impressed with this machine and, registering the warranty online, gave me an extra 18 months on the warranty. Any company who does that has confidence in its products, which speaks volumes. I have always liked Phillips personal care products and this has not disappointed.

I bought this epilator and although I am satisfied overall, I will hesitate to buy it again. That's because it's not as great for legs. It takes ages and even then, the result is rarely satisfying. Having said that, I find the accessory for the bikini line very effective. And the epilator itself as shown in the picture is good for underarms.

really good quality, battery lasts for a good while, its a little on the expensive side but otherwise works really well! having both the shaver and the epilator is really nice. The attachments dont get much use from me, but theyve come in handy every now and then. obviously as its epilator it hurts, a lot. but the results again, are well worth the pain
