easy to assemble and disassemble. there's an attachment piece, the auger which screws into the ground. it also has an extra straight metal piece to help you screw it into the ground as it will get tough to screw in.you can use it as a standing umbrella or you can use it as laying on its side as a lot of the pictures display. if you are going to use it as a standing umbrella you will need to screw in the auger into the ground. that'll be the only way it actually stands up. if you wanted to lay on its side you don't need to screw it into the ground. however if it's windy you will need to screw the auger into the ground even if it's laying on its side and use the provided stakes to stake in the sides of the umbrella. the stakes are included in the packagethe umbrella really provided a lot of shade for a family of four. we use it during soccer practice but there was no wind so I couldn't speak on the durability. I did take a close look at the veins (metal folding pieces) of the umbrella. it is stitched on by about four threads every 6 inches. this does not look like it will last long.although the four threads holding the veins of the umbrella together looks like he'll fall apart in the future I'll update my star rating if it doesn't last. it would be unfair of me to remove a star just because of what I think would happen but actually has not.the carrying case that it comes with also feels like it's going to fall apart within a year. the fabric of the carrying case is very thin and stitched onto the covering of the umbrella. the weight of the umbrella feels like the stitching for the case would fall apart in the near future. I don't think that's an issue I would just buy another durable carrying case for it.overall I really like the umbrella really easy to set up and break down. hoping to get at least 3 years out of it

OMG I love this! My bf and I bought it for our vacation this past year and it’s so easy to set up and take down and comfortably fits 2 people under it! I also like the side pockets or head to hide our phones and stuff! I worked give this a 12/10 if I could!

I bought this umbrella in the summer of ‘24 a couple months after I noticed it wasn’t opening correctly and seen it wasn’t connected correctly, manufacture defect. I contacted the company through email and showed them the picture and they quickly sent a replacement.They his creates a lot of shade, easy to set up. Although I wish there were a stand only option when sitting on bleachers I’ve learned to use a rubber snubber to hold it on a bleacher and keeping it hands free. I’ve never used it in the sand, only on the softball field.

Bought to use for shade at soccer games. Within 5 games, the bar included to use to twist the anchor into the ground bent. The next game we took it to was breezy with some moderate gusts of wind. One gust caught under the umbrella and collapsed it on us while sitting underneath. One of the bars bent, but we were able to bend it back and put it back to use for 1-2 more games. At that point, another slight gust of wind collapsed the umbrella again. The structure failed and wires connecting the top part came loose and the support bars disconnected. Despite every attempt I have made, this cannot be fixed without essentially unstitching and reconstructing the entire thing.I am disappointed this barely serviced more than a half a dozen uses before becoming useless.
