My daughter loves to draw and sculpt horses. This allowed her to position the model to get his exact movements correct.

This is a beautiful wooden horse that you can use in your art lessons.My students think it looks a little sad, but otherwise the positioning is great, we would just have love it if it had a real mane also like the tail.

Well packed!Beautiful mannequin!Joint hardware seem well connected and sturdy and will hold whatever pose you put them in.Neck is not posable/bendable for those who wish to know that detail.Wood is smooth and sanded well, no rough or splintery edges.Finish/lacquer is well done, no drips or missed areas.I am very well pleased with this model!

If you want this for decor, it is perfect and a wonderful price. If you are an artist, you could do a lot better, and this will annoy you. Also, you'll need a tiny screwdriver to loosen the screws to move the legs into position and then to tighten into place.
