Peerless Full-Motion Plus Wall Mount for 50-Inch - 80-Inch Flat Panel Screens (Black)

This wall mount is a beast. It's cast aluminum and steel construction and it is definitely heavy duty. It accommodated a 75 pound LCD TV with ease. It does require some skill to install, especially if your wall framing isn't specifically set up for this mount. The cast aluminum mounting holes on the arms are 16" on center and have a sliding feature that allows you to slide the TV left or right a total of about 12". You might squeak out another few inches if you move the mounting plate on the back of the TV left or right, but plan on having the mount close to the center of your mounting point. My framing was set up so that I wound up milling some 1" ash lumber about 4" wide and using that to catch three studs. I could then attach this mount to the ash on the wall to put the TV dead center on the wall.The actual mount is two pieces. The articulating arm mounts on the wall and the plate that goes on the back of your TV. It has a clever two bolt drop in system that allows you mount the wall arm and then slide the TV and TV mount onto the wall arm. There are 4 total bolts that hold the TV bracket to the wall mount. The wall mount uses 5/16 x 3 1/2" lags for wood studs. I can't comment on brick or steel framed walls - I had wood studs with drywall. One thing I did not like was that none of the included hardware for the TV mounting plate really had the proper washers for the TV bracket, they were simply too small. I bought some proper sized metric hex bolts and washers to mount the TV plate to the back of my TV.The instructions could be better written and some of the bolts described in the directions don't match what is on the wall mount. Individual mounting variations aside, this mount easily adjusts in multiple directions and is extremely well built. I would recommend this mount as long as you have some carpentry skill and someone to help out. It's not a one person job because the mount itself is pretty heavy - 60+ pounds. As long as you have requisite installation skills, I would readily endorse the quality and construction of this wall mount.

This is one heavy duty mount. Extremely well built with great instructions on how to best measure, drill & mount. We had an issue of the studs being off center to where we wanted the TV, but the wall mounts will slide to center where you want the tv to go. Excellent product & I highly reccomend it to anyone with a large tv, or the need to adjust the angle to fit your line of site.

I agree with other reviews that this mount is exceptionally sturdy and well conceived. It does well what it is intended to do. My one objection is a manufacturing problem - the "optional adjustment" that permits sliding the mount laterally along the rails is set in place by two plates secured by a phillips head bolt into a nylock nut on the back/wall side that has restricted rotation. To permit lateral adjustment we attempted to back the nut out but despite having the correct size Phillips screwdriver the bolts were stuck and we stripped the head on 3 of 4. Ended up drilling them out completely and using our own nets/bolts to secure. Set the screw gun torque a little less in manufacture, please!

The full motion mount for my 60" plasma Panasonic television has lived up to all of my expectations. It was fairly easy to install as long as I didn't get in a hurry. Once securely mounted to the wall the tv popped right on and the cabling was a breeze.I would highly recommend this product as it well built and very durable. Best of all though, it was made right here in the USA. QUALITY and DURABILITY by Americans. Very nice indeed.

I have an old Samsung Plasma which is HEAVY. I screwed this thing to the studs, which was a piece of cake even for a novice handyman. Just use a good level with the template provided and you're all set. Now I can "hide" the TV flat against the wall and when I'm ready to watch just pull it out to almost 90 degrees of the wall. Sweet!

Made very well. Pictures for directions which worked extremely well. Would highly recommend.

I used this for a new 80" Sharp TV. Very Sturdy, instructions could have been better but a very nice product.

Sehr hochwertige Halterung! Allerdings ist das Bild und die Bezeichnung im Titel FALSCH! Geliefert wird die Halterung wie sie in der Beschreibung genannt wird, "Peerless SA771PU Max" Max 68kg belastbar und 67cm ausziehbar. Für mich kein Problem, der Preis war für das Gelieferte super und ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Halterung. Habe sie sicherheitshalber mit Fischer Mörtel Ankern befestigt, hält bombenfest! Grüße

Used this to replace an inferior single arm wall mount (which had begun to sag!)Easy to fit, loads of bits and pieces in the box for adapting to different manufacturers specific VESA fitting.Holds my 60 Samsumg plasma with no problems.
