Love it
My baby is 11 months and this is for sure his favorite book, he crawls over to get it almost every morning. I’m about to order a couple more of Byron Barton’s books now. This one has kept him engaged start to finish since he was about 6 months old, that’s saying something!

Best Beginner Book EVER!
Absolutely the best book for a little boy! We have owned the book for about a month and my 20-month old asks for it many times a day. Often, he will just sit and look through the book himself while he "reads" aloud. The pictures are bright and colorful. The best part is that there are easily recognizable cars and people on every page. Even the youngest children will be able to pick out familiar items on each page meaning every page is interesting! Also, the story of Sam and his car teaches responsibility and ends with a funny twist that the young readers will find silly. Simply a great beginner book!

Perfect for the car-loving toddler!
My 19 month old son LOVES cars. We checked this book out from the library and it is definitely my son's favorite book. I put it on my Amazon wish list, so hopefully someone will buy it for us. We've renewed the one we have 3 times now! :) The book has a lot of simple pictures of cars, simple words, and even a bus. My son gets very excited about the last page which has cars, a bus, and an airplane. My Car is a bedtime story request almost every night.

Love Barton Books
My 1yr old is drawn to Batron's books. We discovered them at the library and after reading through several of his books many times, i decided to get her one she can flip through herself without worrying she'll rip the pages. This board book is PERFECT! I love that it's about a car, because her dad loves cars too.

Must have for young boys!
My 1.5 year old loves everything that moves (cars, planes, trains, trucks - name it).He loves this and all other similar books by Byron Barton ( Trains Board Book , Airport , Machines at Work Board Book etc). We've read this so many times that I know the story by heart - and he is still not tired of hearing this book. By far one of his favorites. Both - the text and illustrations are simple for a young kid to grasp.

Great for recognition association.
This book is really great for kids, the texts are bold and big for kids to easily see and read it.The story is about the main character and his car, you'll go over traffic signs, car parts, and weather conditions etc…I would recommend it to new learners, children you're reading to, or wanting to read themselves through recognition (as it's really simple and easy to recognize objects in the book and associate them with words).

Won’t disappear
I read this like 5 times a day. It’s easy to read and my son keeps coming back to this book even though I hide it. How does he keep finding it

When my son was a baby, this was one ...
When my son was a baby, this was one of his most cherished books. An absolute must for all vehicle obsessed baby boys.

Good for very young readers
Bought this for my son when he was just starting to read, he loved the bright colours and pictures. The story itself is very basic, but good for first readers as they don't have a great attention span. My son is 3 and has outgrown this book, but he loved it when he was 1.
