Hot and Hot Fish Club Cookbook: A Celebration of Food, Family, and Traditions

The book came within a day of my order. It was in great condition, no rips tears or folds. I LOVE that it has full color pictures. The recipes are step by step and easy to follow :) and it’s by season so all the ingredients where available at the store.

Two different books served up together. The first section is a pretty coffee table production with highly complicated recipes in the Bradley Ogden tradition that most home cooks will avoid as too difficult; and with personal reminiscences, mostly by the chef's wife, which most readers will skip as too personal. The second section contains almost all the meat -- practical information anyone interested in starting a restaurant can use, some of great interest to the home cook, including a list of purveyors who handle high quality foodstuffs. It is in this second section that the fingerprints of the chef and his staff are found, and it's by far the most valuable part of the book, but suffers from a layout so ugly that it takes a little courage to read. There's a fine book lurking in here, but it would take a good editor to bring it out.

Sent in a timely manner. This cookbook is fun browsing through, it stirs up a desire to buy local fresh, organic ingredients, for the delicious meals that one can make from the recipes in Chris Hastings Hot and Hot Fish Cookbook.

Fabulous cookbook! Wonderful food for guests as well as treats for yourself. And easy enough you will really make them, not just enjoy the beauty of the cookbook. If you know a cook needing a gift, this is it!

Recipes Ave well detailed and we'll designed. Not like some nonsense yo will find floating around the internet.

I love this cookbook and ordered 10 to give as gifts. They arrived in such poor condition from amazon that I had to return them all. This is not the first time that this has happened.
