This was my first pearl purchase for my girlfriend after an exhausting search and not the best experience trying to contact other retailers. Very few source, design and sell their wares as Hinson Gayle does. The quality is apparent from the clasp to the way the pearls sit on the strand. These pearls are very unique and my girlfriend loves the complex blue/green/grays she sees as the light changes. The only warning I have is you must love large pearls, as Gregory states "These are not your grandmother's pearls. I have and will purchase again. The service and contact from the proprietor Gregory is second to none, he is never afraid to provide detailed answers to questions in a quick and timely email, and from across the world judging from the time stamps.

These pearls are unique and very lustrous. The price is quite reasonable when compared to similar strands. I've seen this type and quality of pearl at three times the price. The clasp is easy to use and works well with the shape of the pearls. Very happy with this purchase.

This necklace is amazing. I received it as a Birthday present!The luster is fabulous and the shaping and slight coloring difference in the pearls are spot on.I have a few pearl necklaces and this one ranks right up there with my Tahitian black pearl one.

Fabulous pearls for this price. Nice nacre, no circle' I really like these pearls. They also have a nice clasp. I was very pleasantly surprised when they came. If you like baroque pearls, this is a great buy.

This is my second purchase from HinsonGayle, and I really wish that Amazon Reviews still let you put up pictures for this one. These pearls are incredibly lovely. They have beautiful iridescent colors, purples, gold, blue, and maybe a touch of green to them, it all depends how the light hits. The colors were much brighter and more pronounced than the pictures of the item would lead you to believe, which is in line with what the written description of the item said. This is a weighty and substantial piece, and not for the faint of heart. I used a little ruler to eyeball the size of my pearls, and none of them were narrower than 9 mm, with a couple of them just a hair over 18 mm in length. The pearls are obviously not symmetric, but that adds to their interest in my opinion. I have one or two pearls on my strand that had a little bit of a rough edge on the tail of the ‘fireball,’ and I thought it could be a problem, but it turns out when I wear the strand I don’t notice that at all. The length of the necklace is perfect, laying right on my collarbone at the base of my neck. The pearls are all individually knotted on the strand. The silver clasp is an oval design, with a push button release. It's an unusual design for a clasp, but quality, very sturdy, and goes very nicely with this string of pearls. The pearls came with a very nice presentation box, a little transport pouch, a hand written thank you card, and were very nicely packed.I caught these on a flash sale, so the price is a bit higher now than what I paid, but even at today's listed price I would be happy with this purchase. If you want a nice set of substantial pearls in a striking color, this is a great deal. I love these and have had several compliments on them already.
