If a Gardener has only one book, this is the one he should have. An excellent reference book.

when I have found plants that I would like to buy
Too many times, when I have found plants that I would like to buy, I have visited the website of the nursery listed only to find that they do not stock those plants at all. One of the offending species is Erodiums, a particular favourite of mine. The Plant Finder is still a useful book but I cannot rate it any better than O.K.

Thought it was time to update my 2002 Plant Finder as I am planting a new garden.
