Just got this and it is great. I put it on my shed doors. Didnt even use the Velcro I just folded it up to shorten the length and hammered the tacks through it. Works perfect. If you install it like you have common sense I dont see how anyone could leave a negative review on this one. Great product and money well spent.

Handles are necessary for this and all of these types of screen doors. I often have closed doors behind my screens and when I try to open the doors, I can't open the screen by pushing through it as when the door is open. Clawing at the screen to open it so that I can reach the door handle is inconvenient.

Having to physically bring the sides of the screen together to click the magnets back up… I guess I’ll add better, stronger magnets in between the existing ones to help out? It’s on an RV so we’ll see how long the sticky on the Velcro lasts.

I have a beautiful screen porch that we enjoy so much of the year! Just outside of it is my grilling area and below the porch is an outdoor fire area. When we are hosting parties or even just grilling dinner, the in and out of the screen porch door is a pain when hands are full or lots of folks are using it and we will often leave that door open. That allows bugs to come right into the porch and then on into the house. Defeats the purpose of the screened porch! I decided to try out this magnetic screen door and see how it would work out. I love it! I just prop open the door and then it is an easy hands free in and out. I was concerned at first about the weight of the screen. It needs to be a little bit heavier duty since you walk through it, but it doesn't impede the view much at all. I can live with it! The re is a slight mothball type odor I noticed when opening the package, but since I have this on the outside it doesn't bother us and I'm sure will dissipate naturally. Installation is a snap with a heavy duty sticky Velcro tape that I put up all by myself. Me, a step stool and a pair of scissors and the job was done. Included in the package are some push pins for additional security. If I had small kids running in and out of this all day I would probably add those, but for our purposes I don't think we will need them.I received this product at a discount for my honest opinion and review, so here it is: I'm already planning on buying another one to give to my dad. I even called him and told him to expect a surprise from me in the mail!

I am very impressed with this Magnetic Screen Door! Installation was super easy. It comes with velcro stripping and tacks to keep it secure. We first cleaned out the door jam to make sure that the velcro would stick really good. Then we placed the velcro together and pulled the stripping off of the back and secured it to the door frame. My husband then used some of the tacks to secure it around the edges. This made it very secure and durable.During the day we were letting in house flies, horse flies, and wasps in the house. At night we were letting in moths and other creepy crawly things. Since we've had the Magnetic Screen Door we haven't let in any of these bothersome insects as far as I know. I can't wait til fall weather so I can open up my back door and let a cool breeze in.It is very durable! It has survived 7 days now with two adults, my 3 year old son, and a puppy going in and out constantly. It goes right back in place when closing. One thing that is very important during installation is to leave a little bit of slack in it so that it does snap back together when it closes. If you install it too tight, then it's not going to snap back together.I like that the magnets are strong. I can tell that this Magnetic Screen Door is very high quality. This is very nice to have if you don't have a storm door or a screen door. It allows me to open my wooden door without letting in all kinds of bugs. Plus the black mesh gives just enough privacy while letting in sunlight. Screen is hanging up outside under our cover porch. There are magnetic closers built in keep screen closed and bugs out. Very easy to install just make sure you clean the area the Velcro is to be attached too. They provide push pins to help velcro stay attached, but we didn’t use them sticking pretty good without right now. Ideal for pet door too.

El motivo por el cual ponga 3 estrellas en instalación y montaje no es porque sea torpe, sino porque los acabábamos y quién lo cosio, que todo apunta a una producción en serie y cuando lo montas si el cierre queda justo da tensión o en la parte superior o en el centro, lo que te obliga a combar un poco la parte superior dándole arco al travesaño o parte superior lado corto.Además, tengo maquinaria de coser e industrial y aún tratando de arreglarlo, las medidas tampoco son de fiar, recomiendo medir la cortina en el suelo bien extendida.Suele venir grande.El que diseño esto lo hizo con prisas y mira que la teoría no es muy complicada, pero lo ha diseñado para que la cortina quede holgada, con arrugas.Y por último, entrar y salir, atravesar la puerta astral, si mides 180 o más no vayas con efusividad, como decía la parte superior tiene una leve tensión unido a la que ejerce los laterales que abrirá lo justo para sacar la cabeza como en un parto y no queremos arrancarla del marcó.Por lo demás, lo recomiendo por el precio esta tiradisimo, creo que no pague ni 7 euros y después de todo... Cumple su función.
