I got a single YaoKuem Outdoor Post Light as a test, because I had 9 awful post lights that I needed to get rid of. 6 of my post lights were mounted at the various driveway entrances, on actual posts. The other three were on these weird, tapered post adapters.With anything that has as much glass as an outdoor light fixture, I am always a little apprehensive about shipping damage. The YaoKuem lights come in a rectangular block of Styrofoam - while it's a little messy to unpack, none of the 9 lights suffered any shipping damage. Included is the assembled base and light fixture, the top (bagged separately), and a little baggie of hardware. The fixture doesn't have much heft... I'm assuming it's aluminum, since a "rust-proof" claim was made. If that's true, and you're in a salty environment, you may want to watch out for corrosion. The workmanship of the light seems fine, though the fit-and-finish looks most impressive from 3 feet (or more) away. Considering my budget, I think the lamps look pretty good.Assembly consists of hooking up the live, neutral, and ground wires. You can use the included wire nuts, but I wouldn't, unless you have no choice. Weatherproof wire nuts are a better choice. After that, you slide the lamp's base over the post, and secure it with 3 set screws. These screws are finished in black, so they aren't as conspicuous as they could be, however, you may want to put three REALLY small holes into your posts to: 1.) make the set screws sit as flush as possible, and 2.) keep the light properly indexed, in case of wind or something/someone bumping into it. If you drill those holes, you will want to appropriately rustproof the pole. Finally, you attach the top with two screws. The screws go on with rubber washers, presumably to protect the surface finish of the top cover.I equipped the lights with 15W dimmable LED Edison bulbs (2700K, E26 base, ST64 shape). I've included photos of the results.I was kind of shocked to see the wide range of prices for post lamps, but my selection was largely influenced by how many I needed to get. My goal was to get lamps that were more contemporary than with I previously had, get lamps that looked good, and hopefully get something durable to last a long time. It'll be a while before I know anything about the longevity of these lights, but the 3 year warranty is a nice touch. In total, though, you don't get something for nothing. The cap and securing mechanism are fine, but not premium. The metalwork is decent, but does not have a real solid look or feel. Finally, there's not really any weathersealing on the unit. So, there are better lights out there, but not really at prices that make sense for me. Recommended

Just an FYI in case anyone is curious. A BR-30 bulb will not fit into this fixture. It looks like it's big enough, but the hole at the top of the fixture is not big enough to fit one in. I have a weather resistant BR-30 smart bulb and that is what I needed this fixture for. Returned it and got something else.Even though it didn't work for what I needed, it seems like a nice fixture and will work great for a more regular sized bulb, like an A19.

This is a beautiful pole light topper. I have the matching porch and garage lights. My electrician installed this and I purchased a dusk to dawn sensor to make it automatically come on and off. It is sold without it. But the light is so beautiful!

Installation is breeze, Very clean look to match the other lighting on my house. Light housing its smaller and narrow so make sure you look at the dimensions.

Worth every penny! So easy to install and they look absolutely amazing! Such a sharp look and they make my stone wall stand out so much more. I highly recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade some old ones!

I needed to update my outdoor lights. I bought this one for my lamp post and 2 hanging ones for outdoor walls. I loved the style and they are sturdy. I would buy them again without hesitation.
