Piece of mind.... fits quite a bit and works well!!
Piece of mind during this time in life....I bought a sanitation box months ago but it was so small and only fit one phone so we all had to take turns sanitizing our items.... I decided to look for a larger one and came across this one... sat on the idea for a week or so debating if it even was worth it.... after a visit to the hospital and hearing their suggestion of using uv lights to sanitize items I bought it!!The quality is this bag is better than I expected... the outer material of this feels like a smooth suede like fabric... I can’t really describe it any differently but it’s really nice and well made... zipper opens easily and there is 3 sided flaps that go in the bag which I think helps stabilize the top from falling or pushing inward! There is a thin aluminum tray at the bottom to keep the things raised so that all sides get the uv light... the bottom and the top both are lined with the uv lights not just the top so that all sides get it. Unlike the sanitizer box i got prior that only sanitized the top layer not underneath... this one shines all sides too unsure it’s properly cleaned!! It’s simple and easy to use!! It’s lightweight but in my opinion heavy duty string materials!!! Very well sewn together!!I’m not a professional or expert at uv light sanitizing but I feel piece of mind when using this... as soon as anyone in my home gets home I have them use this plus wash their hands!!! So far no one in my home contacted any illness despite going out to work... so it was worth the money to help keep us safe, we’ve had this set up in our home for a few months now and it’s been working great...it can fit a lot!!! This is like the size of a large caboodle!! It can fit a mini iPad also with lots of room to spare around it. We’re very satisfied with this, If anything shall change i will update here.... hope this was helpful!

Tested, verified genuine UV LEDs, OK performance.
Like many people, I purchased this to protect my family from COVID. There aren't a lot of big name companies that make products like this, so I wanted to KNOW with 100% certainty that this works before trusting it.Spoiler alert - I'd recommend using it for two cycles (6 total minutes), based on my test if you want to be extra cautious.Let's get technical. I purchased UVC TRI-LED Dosimeter cards, directly from one of the manufacturer's authorized resellers. These cards test the dosage of UVC exposure, specifically in the 260-280nm range, which is what UVC LEDs use, and what HOPE-C claims this product uses. The dosage of UVC light is measured in a value referred to as mJ/cm2. A study from Boston University has shown that a dosage of 5mJ/cm2 resulted in a reduction of the SARS-CoV-2 virus of 99% in 6 seconds. Additionally, a dose of 22mJ/cm2 will result in a reduction of 99.9999% in 25 seconds. These cards show measurements of 25, 50, and 100 mJ/cm2. The middle circle started out yellow and it changes color to match the corresponding color of the outer circle. After one 3-minute cycle, the color was nowhere near reaching 25 mJ/cm2. It was about halfway there. After a second cycle, it was past 25 mJ/cm2, but not all the way to 50 mJ/cm2.Based on this, do I think one cycle will be sufficient to kill COVID? Maybe. But I don't have expensive equipment to measure the intensity of the light, so I can't say that it got "___ mJ/cm2 for ___ seconds". The cards only show me a cumulative effect, so it might be a lower intensity of light for a higher period of time in order to change the color on the card - I have no way to know for sure. For that reason, I'll be using two cycles to be safe. What I do know is that the UV LEDs are genuine UV LEDs. They do have disinfectant properties. Hope this helps anyone who had any doubts.

Not especially inexpensive, but probably a good insurance policy...
Hard to tell if it sertilizes, since I'm not a microbiologist with a lab than can test objects that have been exposed to the UVC light. BUT, I can say that it is well made, and stupid easy to use. I am going to take it on faith that the UVC lights sterliize as promised - I know they light up since there is a small window with filtered glass that you can look through.

Well designed and constructed
This is a well designed UVC sterilizer. There are 24 UV lamps, which is 2-4 times more than most other similar sterilizers. Presumably this also means 2-4 times the total UV power delivered to your items. The power delivered by a similar sterilizer with only 12 lamps, according to another reviewer, is about 5 times less than that recommended by medical articles for viral sterilization. So this unit, with twice as many lamps, should come much closer to the recommended power delivery for adequate sterilization. The lamps are evenly spread across the top and bottom so the angle of light is more likely to reach more surfaces on your items. (Surfaces in shadow don't get sterilized.) All inside surfaces are reflective, further enhancing the amount and angles that UV light that reaches your items. The rack to keep your items off of the bottom is reflective and the spaces between the wires allow plenty of light to pass through. The flaps on all 3 sides of the lid prevent almost all of the dangerous UV light from escaping the bag, even when unzipped. The bag is large enough to fit 2 surgical masks at a time, side by side.CONS:The power supply is not USB. However, I accept that this may be necessary to power the additional lamps - a good trade off in my opinion.Activation of the bag requires 2 presses of the button. The first press just wakes the bag. The second starts the 3 minute sterilization cycle. The only indicator that the cycle has started is a filtered window through which you can confirm that the lights are on.This bag is more expensive than comparable sterilizers. However, this bag also has more lamps, and likely comes much closer to recommended specs for disinfecting than less expensive sterilizers. Again, a good trade off in my opinion.I paid for this bag (on sale) and have received no incentive for my review. Then I bought a second one.I would recommend this bag to others.

An easy way to feel clean
This is so much easier to use than I expected. Strong, easy to close zipper. Just press the button, and 3 minutes later, the sterilizing is complete. No odor, no noise. I use it for CPAP equipment.
