This is a "early review" of an electrical appliance, that in the past has proven to have an exceptionally short life cycle. With a bit of hope, perhaps this one will endure years of functional service period. So far so good !

Much more solid than other similar products. Functions perfectly and screw-on design much nicer than common snap-on fixtures. Will only use these for future lamp projects.

These replacement lamp sockets are very nice quality. In fact better than the originals on my lamps! Easy to install with good instructions included. However, the instructions don't indicate which wire goes to the gold screw vs. the silver screw on the socket. I had to watch a YouTube video to understand the difference. It matters. Hoping these replacements last a long time. Very happy with the product and they are a great match for my lamps.

Nice bronze finish; large turn knob that works like it should and smoothly. On the negative side, there is not enough room inside the socket to tie an underwriter's knot.

It is well made with nice finishes

Heavier duty than some. High quality. Happy will last a long time.

I received my order on time. They were exactly what I was looking for. The switches that came with the lamps I bought years ago, did not work well, and I had to move the stem to the back or front in order for the light to work. Now that is no longer a problem with these new sockets. You turn the switch and the light always works at the level you have selected. They work perfectly. They work so well, I bought a second set for another set of lamps that had the same problem. I wish I had looked for replacements long ago. These sockets are made very well. Not like the cheap sockets that came with my lamps. They are a 1000% improvement.

Had a couple older antique lamps with switches worn out and socket casings dried out starting to crumble apart. I found these to be very simple installs that look and feel like they are very well made and will likely last a very long time.
