While this product was a little large for my baby's head, it is a heavy knit and looks just as it does in the pictures.

The hat came vacuum sealed in a plastic bag and full of wrinkles. I was able to steam out the wrinkles and the hat is nice but I would say it's a little smaller than expected. Overall, I'm satisfied but not overwhelmed.

Prior to purchasing this color I had bought the light (sort of oatmeal/off beige color and the size was for adults. BUT THIS BLACK color one was SUPER SMALLER!I could barely fit in. I am very disappointed. They should have doubled checked before mailing anything!

These are great for a costume. My inlaw had a disco themed birthday party and I used this hat as part of my outfit.

Did not know this was a baby cap, seeing as Im a grown man with a melon head it did not fit. Good thing i got nephews

This hat is adorable and great quality. It fit my almost 3 month old perfectly. We used it for his Halloween costume. I think it would also work well for baby pictures. It probably wouldn't be ideal for actually staying warm in the cold, since it is more of a beanie - I would be worried that it wouldn't cover baby's ears.
