Against my best judgement I ordered this item, after reading all the bad reviews here. If anything, I'll enjoy it for a few weeks until it stops working. Well, I put it in water, it started pumping, 2 seconds later I removed it to reposition it, and that was the last time it worked. Why do they keep selling this kind of crap????Stop it! Send my money back!

OK - I received this 18 days ago and here are my daily experience:Day 1 Pumped all day and the lights went on at dusk. Continued to work until bedtime.Day 2 & 3 Pumped all day ant quit working at sunset.Then I discovered two things:1) It turns off when out of water &2) It charges the battery when out of water.So I found if I take it out of the bird bath and set it in the sun during the day then it will run for several hoursoff the battery with the lights on after dusk.Day 4 to 18 Set in sun during the day and then placed in birdbath at dusk. Runs with lights until bedtime.NOTE I live in Tucson so there is plenty of sun.I hope this review helps.

I really liked this but it only lasted 1 week and then it stopped working. Very disappointed. Returned it for refund. Save your time and money.

Works well in full sun, when partly cloudy it cycles on and off as clouds linger. But its nice. Needs to be cleaned every so often . the little motor will clog with small debris.

Lights worked for 2 weeks and haven't worked since. I bought this in may, it’s now July and it has completely stopped working all together. I cleaned it very often. It never ran out of water as I cleaned and filled bird bath ever other day. It’s only been 2 months but past the 30 day return policy. Just poor quality product. Don’t waste your money!!

I really had high hopes since the pump design & structure were different from other solar pump fountains I recently purchased. But no. The fountain lasted less than 4-hours in the birdbath in full sun. The LED lights didn't even turn on after dusk. It is so disappointing. I will be returning.

Works great but when sun not out its weak. Only wanted it to bubble & circulate my bird bath which it does.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this to replace a previous unlit floating solar fountain. Just installed it today and I love it! The shape is more aesthetically pleasing than the round floating fountains I’ve owned, and the LEDs look great in our mini planter pond at night. Yes, it did initially pump intermittently—while the battery was charging is my guess—but it’s running great now!UPDATEThis solar fountain needs full, direct light, so I needed to repurpose it. Not exactly what I had hoped for, but I still love it.
