I was very impressed by this. I've found eXtremeRate's products to be very consistent in terms of quality and shade of color. (Prior to this, I'd already gotten their white shells on my joy-cons and Switch back plate, and they match perfectly.) The picture I included doesn't really do the color justice - it's a very bright white. The texture feels very comfortable in the hands. And the process of swapping this shell is far more reasonable to do yourself than the much more complicated joy-cons. (I paid to have someone on Etsy do those for me, since they had a lot more experience than me, but later found out they used eXtremeRate's shells - they too were great, which is why I later got the back plate and Pro shells from them. Worth it!) If you're looking to get different color shells, I highly recommend going with them!October Update:I had recently noticed that the controller was sticking to the hard surface I was resting it on for extended lengths of time. (Whether it was caused by the paint on the hard surface or the paint on the shell - or both - I don't know.) After forcibly separating the two a few times, I looked at the bottom of the controller and noticed that the shell's paint had come off at the spot on each grip that rested on the surface. (Now I know to keep it on a soft surface of some kind.) Well, I contacted eXtremeRate and explained it to them, and asked if there was any chance they might send me replacement grips (just the handle pieces). They responded quickly and said they'd be happy to. I received them soon after and swapped them out (swapping the grips is the easiest part of the process). And this was NINE MONTHS after I first bought the shell. All I can say is, go with eXtremeRate! Their products are great, and their customer service clearly is as well. :-)

Love the black shell as opposed to the dark see through when going with different color buttons. Looks much cleaner. Install was quick and easy. Went with back and gold to match Joycon look! ⚫🟡👍

So, first of all, I purchased these mint green plates and handles to customise my pro controller to match my Animal Crossing: New Horizons switch. It took me about 2 hours to do both the plates and button customisation. However, I am not an electronics expert and I had to watch the tutorial video a bunch of times lol. If you’re at all tech savvy it won’t take you as long. I love the way that the controller turned out but there are a couple important things to note.It is really nice of them to send a set of screwdrivers with a purchase but the orange screwdrivers were stripping themselves trying to take out the initial screws at the bottom of the handles. I ended up using my own. Tweezers are not necessary if you are just replacing the plates and handles, but they may help when moving the OEM buttons to the new faceplate. I tried to reuse as many of the original screws as possible, but they send you plenty of extras just in case you strip or lose a couple.PLEASE do not unplug any ribbon cables the way that the tutorial video instructs. I knew that if I unplugged those suckers I wouldn’t be able to get them back in properly. You have to do a little more careful holding and maneuvering since the front circuit board will still be attached to the back part of the controller as you unscrew things. But, trust me, if you are not used to doing stuff like this it’s probably a bad idea. Unplug them at your own discretion.The pieces are (spray?)painted they aren’t coloured plastic, and they have a soft matte texture. I didn’t have any trouble replacing the screws into the new casing, and for me everything fit perfectly. It might be worth having a craft knife or sandpaper on standby just in case some plastic doesn’t fit right. I didn’t have any problems though.I did try to include a colour comparison in the photos, hopefully if you are looking to do a similar customisation for the ACNH switch they are helpful. The mint green of the plates and handles is slightly bluer than the mint green of the left joy-con of the console. I would say the baby blue colour is a closer match; if you wanted to just do your plates or handles I might recommend using the blue coloured ones instead of the green. But, it’s totally up to you.I would probably recommend this as an easier/better customisation than the button customisation. My girlfriend got me this shell and a new pro controller since I wanted a white controller to match my white OLED model. I like this shell a lot, but I kept the black grips from the original controller because the material from the white shell is too smooth and seems like it would just be slippery when gaming. I prefer the white and black look anyway. Installation was easy, except there is a step that requires you to unclamp a ribbon and the included screwdriver felt like it would damage the ribbon or clamp so I used some household tweezers. The replacement screws are great and come in handy. I recommend this product but I still feel like the price is a little high, however the fit is perfect and have no issues at all.

This is my third or fourth Switch conversion I've bought from these guys and I'm constantly impressed with the quality. It feels great in hand and looks great. My wife loved it especially that her converted Pro Controller matched her Switch. (review up on the switch side as well)Installation is easy if you take your time and don't strip the screws. Although screwdrivers are helpfully included I would use your own if you have any that fit, otherwise they'll work in a pinch. I would highly recommend you use the new screws they send though, I don't like to re-use old ones. Everything fit well, no problems with fitment whatsoever, and all my friends and wife's friends think it looks great. You should definitely get this for you pro controller.

The product is of great quality, very smooth and nice to hold and it fits perfectly. It was super easy to change too. Only downside is that there is no middle plate so the spot where the charging port is and the two little pieces between the ZL/ZL and L/R buttons are still the original color. Wish they would sell this part as well so the entire controller would match.

Bought this because I was fixing my Nephew's L/ZL & R/ZR buttons, and learned how to take apart the entire casing, decided I could use a change, and boy, this is a great shell. It fits all the pro-controllers' guts perfectly and I absolutely love the yellow! It is true to the colour shown.
