Silky Professional Series 170mm Large Folding Saw
I've had a few pruning saws but this is the best one I've ever bought, exceptionally sharp and cuts off tree branches with ease, the price may seem expensive but you definitely get what you pay for, far better than those flimsy cheap ones, thoroughly recommended

Very well made
Well made and very sharp but only use when I have too. Meaning in tight spots where it's difficult to get in to cut overall I'm happy with my pocket boy.

Real man
I looked at saws a quarter of the price but went for this. I now have 3 silky saws. What's wrong with me? Is it an addiction? Is there treatment? How many do I need? They're lovely to use though and they mark you out as a real man.

The best folding saw I have tried to date
Well made, a good size compromise, if you want to carry it in your pocket whilst walking in the woods as I do looking for windfallen boughs for spoon carving. Go for the most aggressive blade profile for preference.

It's OK.
Not as good as some other Nordic saws, only cuts one way, on the return stroke unlike some others. It comes in good packaging and a storage case. It's easy to use but is a little weak at the thinner end of the blade. Some people reported that the tip can break off as it lacks flex. Guess what, on the first use it did, the top one and a half inches snapped off. The blade could do with being a little more flexible. Cuts well but only on the pull stroke. There are better saws that perform better and are more robust.

Great saw, fits well in a larger pocket. Saws through softwood and hardwood no problem. Comes nice and sharp Remember to retighten the screw as needed

The teeth on this saw are not typical of hand saw kerf, it is made to cut on the pull stroke only. This saw is extremally sharp with very aggressive cut and I was surprised how fast it cuts though branches with very little effort. One thing that takes a little bit of practice is applying cutting force on the pull stroke only. The blade is too thin to support much pressure on the push stroke. You do need to be careful that you don't cut the tree/branch in a way that the blade can be pinched. The blade will easily bend if its pinched and a lot of push force is applied. I use this to cut 1" diameter and larger Invasive bush Honeysuckle trunks. It cuts this soft wood very easily and the saw folds up and drops into a belt attached holster. Its light and easy to carry through the woods. I have slayed acres of bush honey suckle with this thing. I cut the trunk, treat the stump with Tordon and crawl to the next one. One man honey suckle Ninja!
