WPT-044 New Engine Water Pump with Gasket - Compatible with Select Toyota 4Runner, T100, Tacoma

Relatively easy to install. Packaged well including the gasket. Gasket came in with no issues, as a prior unit from another vendor came in cut - had to purchase a new one at my cost. Aisin gasket is aluminum coated with rubber, so expect a good seal. Pump is tight and appears to be high quality. Had noticed another reviewer remark that he had to use the old studs from his water pump to install the fan. I had the same issue but solved it by counter boring my fan mounting bracket about 1/8" to allow the fan to seat. The Aisin studs have a flare in the middle of the stud the prevents the fan mount from completely sitting flush against the pully. Saw another reviewer remark that something was ground off on the front of the cover, and mine displays this. Don't know but this might hint of these issues, but everything else looks authentic.

This pump worked great and priced right only reason for deducting one star was the packaging was torn and gasket had a small knick on it, but did not affect performance.

This pump was ordered for my 2004 Tacoma. It is the exact same part as what you would get from the dealer at half the price. Aisin is the original manufacturer for Toyota. The pump I received even had the Toyota name ground off. It also comes with the metal gasket, not some cheap paper gasket. I would not hesitate to buy this again when I need it. The factory pump made it to 330k.
