Black Digitizer Repair Kit for iPad Mini 1&2 A1432 A1489 Touch Screen Digitizer Replacement with IC Chip + Home Button + Tools + Pre-Installed Adhesive

At the time I was looking for my iPad Mini 2 touchscreen replacement I came across this product. I am glad I did, not only did I receive the Correct Product and Fast delivery, it also came with the toolset that helps make it Easy to install. Of Course there are Many things to be Careful with any Touchscreen Installation, but as for this Product itself Great! It was Installed on 7-13-20 and it has been Functioning as it should be, without any known issues... All this Under $20 👍Today's Date 7-18-20(Will Update if some new knowledge comes up).(01-22-22)Purchased this product a Second Time, this time product came with a tube of adhesive, (which seemed a bit dried out) but as i have a Cover over iPad I have No issues having not used the Adhesive...Might even be easier to remove screen when it is damaged again lol....As for the actual screen it's been over a week without any know issues...

This was a perfect kit to replace the touch screen on my Ipad mini 2. It comes with several handy tools, especially the mini Phillips head screwdriver driver, the plastic guitar picks to prop the touch screen up, and a couple of other tools to make it easy to do everything you need. A few other items to get: B-7000 glue which is needed to glue the glass screen back into place, and some eye wear protection - if you're replacing shattered glass, the little shards of glass can pop everywhere including into your eyes! I used a blow dryer to heat the edges, too, but that blows the little pieces of glass everywhere, too, so I'd recommend a heat gun instead. But I got by without the gun, and fixed two iPads in a couple of hours. It was fairly easy to do, just need patience and be careful not to scratch the LCD screen beneath thtouch screen glass. Dont use a metal putty knife like some videos show; it's likely to scratch the LCD. Just use the plastic tools that come with this kit.

Great product, had all necessary tools plus more, however did not have tape attached or informed that tape was still needed. Overall would buy again

Instructions show hands happily peeling back the blue plastic to expose the adheisive. But they lie...lol. The adhesive sticks more to the blue film than to the glass. So when you try to peel it off to stick it down, the adhesive comes up with the blue strip.Use a razor blade to get it peeled back!I also think the vendor is aware of the issue. This is why they suggest the bottle of glue with your purchase...But hey...a new digitizer, tools and an included home button for just over $15 I'd a good deal. They also shipped quick.

Pretty simple to install, just takes time. Look up a tutorial video to walk you through. Tape is a little difficult to take the protective film off of, persistence is key.

Installation was easy and went well but after 2 months of use the screen became unusable again because it would randomly start to press random apps and would shake the icons on the screen uncontrollably when trying to swipe from screen to screen. This could be a defective unit and would be willing to exchange it for another if the seller could contact me.

Make sure to check first because I didn’t realize it until the end. Luckily I had some to make it work. Overall it works so just make sure.

Great price. No instructions but youtube is full of how to videos. Came with all the tools needed to do repair. Robust packaging protected the screen during shipping.
