Great story weaving the past, present and future together. The movie was good, but the book is so much better.

This is the only book I go back to over and over again.

Time travel isn’t linear, there’s so much more than going forwards and backwards with time. This novel explores all directions of travel, it’s a must read book! A+

There are very few books I read that when I get to the end, I am sad that it's over, or I want to go right back to page 1 and start all over again. This book wins on both counts. I fell in love with this book instantly. I was skeptical at first, because I am not a science fiction reader--and with the time travel element, I thought this would fall into that category. It definitely does not! While time travel is the premise of the book, it is not all science-fictiony. It is a love story. I can' think of anything about the story I didn't like--well--yes, I can--but that would give things away. I have read this book several times--and there aren't many books I re-read. Time Traveler's Wife and Lovely Bones are probably the only two books I read more than once!

I got this book as a gift from an adviser and was worried that I wouldn't like it. It turned out that I absolutely loved it. I thought the writing was good and the story even better. I will admit that I read mostly romance novels and only some of the biggest best sellers, so I definitely don't look for literary merit when choosing my books. So if you're looking for THE next great novel, this review is probably useless for you.The book flowed well, and I didn't notice any of the nitpicky details that the negative reviews pointed out. I give it five stars for both the writing itself and entertainment value. Overall, I think this book is beautifully imagined and written and definitely worth a read for the casual reader.

The two things I like the best about this book... 1. Compared to other books that touch on science fiction (ESPECIALLY time travel!), this is a book that has amazing amounts of coherence. So many of time travel books melt into incoherent gobblygook once people start skipping around. 2. At its heart, it's not really a time travel book at all. It is a book commenting on modern day love and modern philosophy of life. The book made me think, that is the best compliment I can ever give a novel.
