Carhartt mens Casual Rugged Oil Finish Reversible Belts

Owned for 1 day so far & nothing bad to say. The leather is just over 1/8" thick & it smells great! The double-stitching is top-quality, adds a nice touch to the appearance & feels like it will last a very long time. The buckle & spring mechanism that reverses the side of the buckle is crafted beautifully w/ materials that will last a lifetime. You pull the buckle away from the belt about 1/16" & then twist it until it locks facing the other way. Upon careful investigation of the belt it appears to be a brown belt w/ an 1/8" high black leather border on the top/bottom. You could say the black side is the back of the brown belt. I only point this out because that is where: made in China is stamped into the leather. It is subtle enough not to be noticeable when wearing & crisp enough to wear it as an everyday black belt. I've never really owned a good reversible belt & it has to have a back side right? I bought it for the black side & I will wear it as a black belt %99 of the time. The bottom line is: this is probably the best belt I've ever owned. When i say best I mean this belt will last forever, looks great & will age well! Wear & tear on this belt will give it character &it will be able to be worn on a job site or at a wedding for years to come! Top quality materials & craftsmanship!

I like the belt. I like the ability to just turn the buckle and have a black belt or a brown belt. But, as you can see in the photo, the only thing that holds the buckle on the belt is a tiny screw. And it loosens over time and the buckle comes off. Then it breaks eventually. Thus one come apart 3 times over 8 months until it broke. I've had belts that have lasted me 10 years that simply wore out. This is not one of those. This isn't even 6 month belt. Most people would have trashed it the first time it come apart. I expected more from a Carhartt product. Which is why I purchased it.

I always been a fan of carhartt. There products are sturdy. This belt not only looks good. but also, it is durable. and you can switch between the two colors easily. Great value

These belts are not any disappointment to the Carhart name. They are well made from heavy leather and are sized properly.

Returned Beauty : I ordered my pant size that was 10" too short for a corresponding belt .. Weird that the formulae is not included with the other important info !! Had to go to a dept. store to find the last strap that fit !

Updated review: I returned the belt with the screw missing and ordered another one. The second belt is perfect. Original review: Brand new out of the packaging, there is a screw missing that holds the buckle to the belt. Bought as a Christmas gift, glad I checked it before gifting! I expect better quality control from Carhartt. Hopefully an exchange will solve this.

I just broke my 3rd Carhartt Belt. The connection where it flips from brown to black has broken 3 different times now, SO CLEARLY. This is an issue with the manufacturer (Prob China) but nonetheless, looks bad on Carharrt's part. The Leather is great quality, and the belt fit well. I don't even switch it from side to side, but the screw has broken in the middle every time.
