MaxxAir High Velocity Industrial Belt Drive Barrel Fan. Heavy Duty Rolled Steel Housing (42 Inch Barrel Fan)

This is a little long, so bear with me. The photo is just like the first one I ever bought of these fans, back in 2012. It's been through getting hit by a car, dropped, kicked, humid weather, and more hours of use than I can count.So I finally bought a new unit. So far I have to say I'm impressed. The fan seems to blow a little stronger, and it looks like the wheels and parts are a little more heavy duty. The metal around the fan is where I am really happy with the new unit though - it's thicker with a different pattern to it. Feels really solid.I also really enjoy that I can replace parts for this fan really easily and that this seems to be an American company. Will update later, but right now this is a solid win.

This is a large, oversize fan, that moves a lot of air but not very fast. This fan runs around the clock to ventilate and aircraft hangar, but to be honest, we also bought a smaller version of this, work which works almost as well. It's pretty solidly built, an industrial piece of equipment, but given the cost of it, the smaller unit they make moves almost as much air, albeit at at a faster rate.Of note, this uni is belt driven and probably will need a belt replaced every so often.

Highly recommended, so far. Works great for a garage gym.

We have a large garage that gets pretty hot in the summertime so this year we added a second fan to help with airflow. This fan is much louder than our original one, but not nearly as effective when’s it comes actually pushing air. Unfortunately, would not recommend

For the price of this Fan i could of got two 42" fans that moved air better.Definitely does not move air like it says

Moves a lot of air. Not too noisy. Solid construction and easy to roll around. This was a “used” item but I saw absolutely no signs of this unit not being new. I choose this unit over others due to the others having lots of complaints of blades breaking off.
