Simply Superb!
The OS Explorer "Active" has a water-proof film coating making it ideal for actually taking on a walk rather than just planning beforehand. It'd be nice if you could mark the map with a dry-wipe marker and then clean it off, but this doesn't work - be warned !!Other than that, what else is there to say about a map? Grafham Water is in the centre and surrounding areas are shown. I bought the map for walking and I'm delighted that footpaths, bridleways and so on are very clearly marked.Absolutely perfect for me, and well worth the upgrade to the "Active" (i.e. coated) version.

Great guide
Ordinance survey maps are probably the most useful maps out there for anyone walking/hiking/mountainbiking/not being a lazy git. This map covers the west of London, showing a few different walks that have been set up by National Trust or other recreational walks. These maps give you major roads to avoid along with landmarks and features worth seeing, it has helped me find quiet places to walk my two Terriers away from other dog walkers because my two dog are gobby little blighters.

Get to know London
This is great for walking London. We used it on a walk from Wimbledon to Waterloo. Never realised that this could be done through footpaths, river walks etc. A different view of South West London.
