I have been tired and worn down for quite a while and am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I read about Corvalen in a women's magazine and thought what the heck, I'll give it a try. Being a skeptic, I have never used a product like this before. I am totally convinced that this was something that my body must have needed as it was the only change I made in my daily routine. Literally, and much to my surprise, within 5 days I had energy that I haven't had in so long; my fibromyalgia and arthritis pains have eased up and I sleep so much better. I have been able to take my dog for short walks - and working up to longer ones. I don't know how this powder works, but for me, it is such a gift!

Great product. Good for heart health. As for energy, I've used it before and it worked. This time, on my first use, I did not feel the energy pick up. I have not used it more than one scoop. Will do so soon, as I have a rigid gym routine and am using pro endorphin, which always works. Good product for you heart. Will take some today while this is a day away from the gym! Corvalen is good for you. It supports your heart.

I won't buy it again. It does not seem to make any difference in my aches and pains for which it was recommended for.It does seem to give a little energy boost like a stout cup of coffee, enough that I wouldn't take it in the evenings.

I was concerned from reviews that different distributors had bad or inconsistent product. But no one nentioned which distributor. And so i took a wild guess/chance.This is just my first order from them, but I want to say it's perfect, and just like the Corvalen I used to buy from my now closed pharmacy, who ordered it special for me.I have MECFs (or CfS or CfIDS) and Fibro. I went to less expensive brands for a while. Drs Best was the best of those. The others a waste of money. For me.I can't afford it, but I just had to go back on the actual Corvalen by Douglas Labs. It does, for me, work ten times better than even the Drs Best. Sadly. But the Drs Best does do pretty well.If you start D ribose, do do the 3 scoops a day for three weeks then one a day after that. I've found whenever I've gone off D ribose for financial reasons, it still makes a difference if I do that when I go back on, if it's been awhile. When I skipped that step, I never found the benefit from the d-ribose. Fwiw.I went straight from the drs Best D ribose powder to this, this time, and so did not need to do the three weeks of three scoops.

I like Corvalen Ribose because it does give me more energy. I am able to enjoy my life again. Two years ago I had two very major surgeries nine months apart. Then I started catching all kinds of illnesses: RSV, Pertussis, a lung infection. No matter what I did, I was still getting sick and feeling very tired.In addition, I have gastroparesis. I decided to see a functional medic doctor in Integrative Medicine. She suggested I try CorvalenRibose. I find it expensive, however, the generic Ribose D did not have the same effect on me. I really wish it cameIn a larger more ecenomical size .

I started taking D-Ribose in June 2013 after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia in May and reading "From Fatigued to Fantastic" by Dr. Teitelbaum. I have tried three different brands including this, Jarrow, and Now Foods. I see results with all three but this brand works the best for me.There are some significant differences which surprised me because all three state they are 100% D-Ribose with no other ingredients. The Now Foods brand is by far the smallest grain and the sweetest in taste. This brand, Corvalen, is the largest grain and takes a bit longer to dissolve, it is also not nearly as sweet. These factors, for me, aren't a big issue. I do occasionally notice a soap like after-taste which is displeasing but resolved by drinking hot tea or chewing gum.I have seen better results in my fatigue level with the Corvalen. It regularly provides me with 30% more energy by taking 5grams three times a day. The other two brands helped some, but more in the range of 10-15%. It is also the only brand that comes with a 5 gram scoop, which is tremendously helpful given that's the dose I need. Jarrow came with a 2 gram scoop, so getting 2 plus that half scoop measured out was a little more difficult. The Now Foods brand didn't provide a scoop at all.The other major difference between the brands is the price. I purchased the Jarrow brand at a local health food store, Now brand here on Amazon as well as the Corvalen. Now Foods is by far the least costly, Jarrow was mid-range and this brand the most expensive. I'm taking quite a few supplements plus prescriptions so cost is a huge factor for me, but given the results I see with the Corvalen I'm willing to pay more.I've been taking three times a day for four and a half months and it consistently works for me. If I miss a dose, I notice it that evening or the next day. When I started it, day 1 was no difference, day two and three I noticed feeling almost too much energy, I was hyper and shaky. I considered lowering the dose but when day four through seven evened out and I didn't have the jitters I continued the recommend dosage.My husband also tried it, he doesn't have CFS or FMS, but is 57 years old and has afternoon fatigue. He found it increased his energy significantly, like a jolt of caffeine. The full dosage was too much for him. He only takes 2 grams twice a day now and finds that it helps him get up and going and he no longer feels the need for an afternoon nap.Great product and this is our favorite brand. I recommend it to anyone with FMS and as a lower dose supplement for those needing a little more energy.

After going thru my first two tubs of this amazing stuff I ordered a less expensive brand that got decent reviews. Bad mistake. It didn't work. This is the stuff. It really helps my chronic fatigue. I will never be without it. And it tastes really good. I took it 3x a day for first month and then, per what I had read, I believe in Teitelbaum's book From Fatigued To Fantastic (great book, btw) I went down to 1x day with ok success. On days when my energy is crashing bad I go back to 3x, kinda okay it by ear. I feel it work immediately. I put it in my breakfast smoothie, in tea or just mix with water. It goes down super easy.
