Would be better if rated for 2015 psi rather than 1800 psi.
I bought this because it's the smallest possible argon cylinder with the CG 580 fitting that would allow it to be refilled by standard equipment. I liked the notion that, being made of aluminum, it would weigh less. I bought it for use in preserving wine, coffee beans & etc. at my parents' house in West Virginia. Unfortunately, when I took it to Airgas here in WV, they wouldn't fill it owing to its 1800 psi service pressure. They sold me a used steel cylinder marked DOT-3AA2015 (20 cubic feet @ 2015 psi service pressure) for ~$70. I'm sure I'll eventually find some good use for this nice aluminum cylinder, but for now it's sitting empty.
