This stuff is amazing, but…
I read that you needed to start using before your treatment, so started applying a couple of weeks before, twice a day, and continued throughout my treatment. My nails are the best they’ve ever been - even before cancer/chemo. Only gripe is that the applicator is not fit for purpose. My advice is to warm up the tube - for example pop it in your pocket for half hour before use. Even with this method though, the applicator cannot get inside top of tubes nor is it long enough to reach the bottom of the tubes. This stuff is not cheap so between the two tubes you’re probably wasting £10 worth of product! Please sort it out Polybalm.

Superb product
I have to be honest. I don’t write many reviews but feel I have to for this. I knew I was starting chemo and this was recommended to me. I started using it every night about a week before my first session. I have now completed 8 cycles of a very strong chemo regime, each one takes two weeks. My nails are in better condition than they have ever been!!! They are long and strong. I can’t recommend this more highly. I know it is expensive but the finger nail tube is still going after using it every night for 4 months. Not using it on my toe nails and might use the toenail tube on finger nails when this runs out. Chemo is crap but one thing that is great is my nails!

Works on fingernails. Not sure about toenails and how effective it is.
This does seem to prevent damage to finger nails but my toenails haven’t fared so well

Smells lovely
I’m using this while undergoing chemotherapy. I’m not sure if it has stopped damage but so far my nails are fine while using this. It does smell lovely and useful that it comes with two in one package. It would be helpful if one tube had a different coloured label to easily tell the difference between one used for hands and one for feet. It is quite expensive!

Worth the price
Expensive but very effective so far in helping to repair my cuticles. Maybe because it's expensive I am making more of an effort but worth every penny for the transformation so far

Waste of time for me.
I’m not sure how these reviews reflect the product, I bought this item based on these.. Have been on chemo for three months. Nails are a mess. Have used this product on finger nails for 10 days. No change whatsoever ever.

Polybalm
Have started using this a week before treatment starts. As others have mentioned, it is hard to get out of the tube but I can see it coating the nails. I’ve marked one tube for toes and one for fingers so I don’t get them mixed up. Will review again mid treatment. Pricey but hopefully worth it to attempt to salvage my nails. Update: this definitely helped with my fingernails on my hands - I didn’t lose any nor had any lifting of my nails. Even the chemo unit commented on how good my nails looked. Unfortunately, my toe nails were another matter - I lost at least three on each foot - but I think that was because I was (luckily) fairly active and walked to my treatments and blood tests at the hospital. Don’t think the Polybalm would have saved them even if I had been very diligent!

Die Nägel trocknen nicht aus und sehen auch bei starker Belastung gesund und gut aus.

Scientifically tested & proven… my expectations were too high probably, my nails gone lifted anyway. We just need to be patient and keep the nails hydrated I suppose. After 5 month the nails are getting better.

Preis leider sehr hoch.
