Over the Moon: Let Love In

I bought this book for my son because we've enjoyed the Netflix movie a few times. This book is terrible in comparison. We only understood it because we'd seen the movie. If you handed this book to a kid who hadn't seen the movie, they would be incredibly confused. Important characters aren't introduced, the plot is incredibly glossed over. The only positive I can say is that the pictures are nice. Would not recommend.

As other reviews have stated, not much plot or story here. My three year old adores the movie so loves the book, though. The pictures are lovely and if you’ve seen the movie, it’s a sweet book. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a bit thin on value.

I was hesitant to buy this book after reading some of the reviews but my 5 year old is obsessed with the movie. I thought it was a nice condensed version of the story for bedtime and kept the beautiful message. Good quality hard cover book for the price with beautiful pictures. Bought the longer novel version too for when she is older.

Me and my child love this Netflix original movie. Recently got this book and some dolls, the book is great! It's perfect length for a bed time story - not too long, and its beautifully illustrated! Also a plus, hardcover! We love this book and want it to last in good condition! Biggest plus- beautiful story of family and living for now! "Let love in"! Highly recommended from our house to yours!

Good price for Christmas gift...but having rip on the cover? Looks used....

This book is terrible. It’s like whoever wrote it didn’t even see the movie. The pictures are decent, but the story is really weird and doesn’t make sense. Unless you’ve seen the movie you’d have no idea what’s going on. Very disappointing, as our daughter loves the movie.

A lovely book with beautiful pictures and a positive message about opening up to your family's love. Particularly nice for blended families I think. We love the movie, and maybe this would make less sense if you haven't seen it.

My daughter loves the movie and its story so much and she loves hearing the story over and over again to make her sleep. Sadly, this book is a total letdown. It's as if no real editing was done before publication.
