Great photograph paper....BUT.....
First off, photos look great on this paper!!! I have an Epson ET-4800 printer (which is far from high end....) and had no problems. BUT!!!!! 2 things... First do not confuse the stiff packing card as one of the photo sheets. Second (and this is the big one) make sure you print to the right side!!! There is no instructions or markings - I had to figure it out the hard way.....the correct print side is the bright white side. The back is the off white side. Luckily, I only wasted 4 sheets before it dawned on me. If you do print to the back by mistake, you will know it - the pictures will print with a faded look. But you can "recycle" that sheet and re-print to the other side!!!!

Prefer Matte!
I use this matte photo paper and like how my prints come out. Just make sure to place the side that is whiter face down when putting in printer.

Beautiful colors reproduction
If you're expecting the somewhat shinny matte paper that you get from photo shops, don't buy this one (buy Ilford Premium Pearl Photo instead). I was disappointed when I first openned the package to find "regular" paper. The paper has a brighter white and a little more weight than regular printer paper. Having said that, this paper produces beautiful warm skin tone and brilliant white compared to the Canon Glossy II [which seems to have a greenish tint when compared side by side]. Love the fact that I don't have to worry about finger print. The only negative thing I can say about the image quality is that pictures appear to be overall darker than the glossy paper [especially in the shaded area]. Give this paper a try if you can get over the feeling of being ripped off b/c it feels like regular paper. Better yet, give Ilford Premium Pearl Photo paper a try and you won't be disappointed.

Disappointed
So disappointing. The photos turn out OK, but was very disappointed to find that when opening these to find that there was not branded markings on the back of the paper to denote which side is the printing side. It looked like cardstock. There is a side to print on. One side the photos are crisp and clear, the other is diffuse and not clear. This isn't a huge deal if it stays in the package, but if the paper comes out abd gets messy there's no way to know which side is which and you waste the paper and ink.

How to tell the printable side
I agree with everyone who praised the quality and slammed Canon for not clearly indicating the printable side of the paper. (How much could it cost?) My solution: the paper comes in a plastic wrap package with a flap that folds over the top. With the pkg closed and the fold facing you, the non-printing side is facing you. I used a marker and wrote that on the pkg for future use. Because paper is loaded into almost all printers with the non-printable side facing up, it's easy to remove them from the pkg and place them in the printer.

High quality paper at a good price

Horrible paper! It is nothing more than thick paper, and NOT matte photo style, as I was expecting. So maybe it is my fault for being a paper ignoramus but I was expecting the non-glossy style of photo paper like photos used to be, before gloss.

Used with my Brother MFC-J6920DW printer to print save the date "postcards" for my Wedding. Works great, looks like it came out of a print shop. This paper feels like card stock and has a smooth finished side that you can print great quality photos and graphics on. The backside is not suitable for photos but I was able to print text on it and it was OK but not fantastic. This paper does not feel like photo paper, it feels like card stock so if you are looking for something with just a low gloss or something that has a plasticy or clear coat finish this product is not for you. This is more like the paper you would see on a business card or a greeting card.
