I originally purchased this item, after researching options online, to clean 30 years of tobacco off the walls and the original unpainted woodwork of a 1950s house. I then used it to clean the walls and bathroom in a grungy 1910 house. I have now purchased it again for a 1930s gem that has been a neglected rental. Apparently the last tenant was dealing with depression... and it shows. Photo is of the most recent clean. Just used Savogran, wet cloths, and hot water. Photo is after my very first wipe (I did 2 with separate shop cloths), and it is super evident that I cleaned in the upper right corner of the image. I have been recommending Dirtex/Savogran to others for 5 years. It's wood-safe, great for paint prep, and it completely brought the beauty back to very dirty kitchen linoleum. Easy to wipe clean with a wet cloth. I even used it to clean off the front wall of my home, porch ceiling, and porch railing last week. Excellent value for your money.

Great cleaner for walls. Husband was a painter and always washed the walls first with dirtex

I saw a documentary about Jeffrey Dahmer the serial killer and he used this stuff in the clean up his apartment. It was called soilex back then but it is called dirtex now. I would recommend wearing a mask when mixing this stuff because if it gets up your nose it's going to burn. I used it to clean my bathroom wall sink and bathtub and it did a great job getting stains off the bathtub and getting everything sparkly in the bathroom. It also worked well on my hardwood floors that were developing a film during the hot humid summer months . It is very important that you follow all the mixing directions for the task at hand which are written on the back. I took one star off because it is expensive for such a small box.

Used this to clean my walls in my house and it worked really really good, all i had to do was mix with hot water. Had my walls looking like i had just moved in, plus the clean smell made it even better!!

I can't believe how well this product works! It has made my walls, floors, base boards, refrigerator and kitchen cabinets literally look brand new. I was hesitant to use it on my kitchen cabinets due to the stain, but it didn't discolor or remove any of the color and they look great! A little goes a long way and you don't have to rinse it off. Highly recommend this product.

I purchased this to Spring clean my walls. First, you only need a little cleaner per gallon of water. I was amazed at how well it cleaned my walls. Secondly, I love not having to rinse the walls after cleaning them. I thought it had a nice fresh scent and I'm really happy with this purchase.

This is by far the best thing I've ever found to wash walls and doors. It has done a great job! It has even brought some of the vibrancy back to the colour of the paint on my walls.I can put off painting three of four years because of this product. Washed off all marks that are possible to get off.Only two tablespoons per gallon are needed! You can wash a lot of floors and walls with one small box!Be careful when handling it. It is quite strong, wear gloves and safety glasses.
