My Ice Maker was being flooded at every change of ice cubes creating a frozen glacier like mess in the cube tray. It was the Inlet Water Valve that was bad. Replacing it was a bit of work to get to, but it was pretty straight forward. Now the Ice Maker is getting just the right amount of water each time.

My ice maker was overflowing with water and I replaced the intake valve and it corrected the issue.

Worked like a charm. Amazing what you can fix using YouTube videos. I would never have guessed this was the part that was causing the water dispenser on our fridge to leak pretty badly. Internet search led me to this part and video convinced me I could fix it myself. It was a little too low to the ground for a heavy guy like me to reach it, though. Had a buddy come by and had it swapped out and working perfectly in no time. Easily saved $100-200 in a repair visit.

Needed to replace my defective water valve that just stopped working. Purchase this identical unit and had it changed and water flowing to ice maker clean filtered water in under twenty minutes. Every thing is back to normal.

I am not sure of the longevity of this product but I did install this about a little over 5 months and now it is broken. Wondering how long it has last for others. I don’t see any warranty on here or a way to contact the seller?

Once we got the old unit disconnected, connecting the new one was a breeze. Saved a bunch of money buying this unit instead of original factory part. This solved the problem of water dripping from the water dispenser every time the sprinkler system was running. (I know, weird issue - right). Took a while to trouble-shoot exactly what the problem was. Nice to know a 74 year old woman and a 16 year old young lad can do our own repairs.

This valve overflowed my ice tray. The picture on Amazon is correct and the part number is correct but when I got it, it was definitely different but had the right part number on it. The description said it may look different so I installed it, and as soon as the ice maker called for water it started overflowing the ice tray and out the dispenser. So I reset the system thinking maybe it needed it. (BY THE WAY, IM A APPLIANCE TECHNICIAN FOR A MAJOR COMPANY) Now it filled the ice tray to the very top (way to much water) and I was getting ice bricks instead of ice cubes. So I bought another one but this time a OEM part, all works good now. Don't buy third party parts for appliances, I know I never will again.

I needed to replace the water valve on my ice maker and a factory one was in the neighborhood of $90.00. I found this one and when it arrived it looked exactly like the original. Took about 10 minutes to install it and now I have ice again.
